I’ll be in Vegas the week after Thanksgiving and want to take in some desert scenery. If time is not an issue, do you think the car tour roads are more scenic at Valley of Fire, or at Red Rock Canyon? PM or respond here. Thank you all in advance!
There are so many awesome rock formations and if you have the time you should DEFINITELY go on a hike take the Rainbow Vista Trail and see all of the breathtaking desert colors that look like they're painted on the rocks. There are also Petroglyphs on the Mouse's Tank trail there. Enjoy our amazing scenery!!

Valley of Fire of course is gorgeous and so unique. Red Rock is really fun too and alot closer to the city..so time may not be an issue but if distance is...go with the latter. Both are unique and beautiful in different ways. Personally, I love that valley of fire has so many hieroglyphics all over to explore and an abandoned town close by.
