Any one recommend the Boiling Crab?  Better than hot and juicy crawfish?  Thanks

Hot and Juicy. I've never been to the boiling crab but HNJ was always my favorite when I ate seafood.

Joe's Crab Shack is to crab what Golden Corral is to steak.

LV is home to some of the best restaurants in the country, I suppose you recommend Olive Garden for Italian food as well. (Sorry Perfect Storm) lol

As a biological link to a Cajun roots, I have to ask specifically what you are in search of. Being from Houston and studied culinary arts, Vegas is not the route for Cajun food at all. While Boiling Crab and Hot n Juicy reign for Cajun... it doesn't touch a 10th of what you could actually taste from down south Cajun food. I'd love to cook you a meal.
P.s. I cooked crawfish etouffee for dinner the other night. If you love crawfish, you'd love this dish. True Cajun dish.

Let me know.

I too am from the land of gumbo, shrimp poboy, and good cup of red beans and rice. I have been lamenting the complete lack of cajun food in Las Vegas. I love Las Vegas so much, but growing up about 2 hours from New Orleans has me missing it. I've fantasized lately about opening up a cajun bar and grill one day.

So... uh, if that offer to cook is open to fellow providers I have a can of Cafe du Monde coffee and can make beignets!

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Lola's Louisiana Kitchen. I've been to the original location (Charleston & I-15) many times and it's always great. They also have a location in Summerlin but I've only been a couple of times so would hesitate to comment one way or the other.

I did not care for Lola's food at their Charleston location I recall going there once when it first opened.
Didn't know they had a location in summerlin perhaps that one is better.

There is also one at the Palace Station but I like the Texas one better. The one at the texas has Peel and Eat Shrimp steamed with Cajun Seasoning.
Great gumbo,catfish,and etouffee.
I haven't tried Boiling Crab before.
I love Cajun food:)

I'm always looking for a good place to try.
I'll give it a go the next time I'm in that part of town. :)

Thank you all for your suggestions.  I will post a review of some spicy crawdads😄

So went for lunch at boiling crab.  Already about 20 people in line before it opened at noon.  Typical eat with your hands decor. Waxy paper tablecoverings and lots of napkins.  Ordered 1 pound of crayfish and Alaskan king crab legs. Got all the flavours mixed together.  Holy crap!!! It was amazing!  The flavours and smells of the seasoning was incredible.  Would recommend in a heartbeat.  I thought a bit more tasty than hot and juicy.   PS.  Condolences to those who lost loved ones last week.  The city is all trying to make sense of the tragedy.   #Vegas Strong.

I love Cajun food.  Nothing like it when cooked by a true Cajun chef.  The real thing can make you sweat.

I hear this, my mom and stepdad lived about an hour away from New Orleans for a few years (only reason they left was because of Hurricane Katrina). The one time I visited there, we ate at the Cafe De Monde. OMG, I was in heaven when I ate the Beignets there, I miss that place.
