And let's be honest, most ladies are usually a tad late. So waiting in my room would drive me crazy. Plus at the bar you can kill alot of time there's people watching, Bullshit around and maybe gamble alittle while you're waiting...
And a half hour to get from the bar to your room? Where are you staying? Most hotels have a bar by the elevator or lobby...ever notice how those bars are called "Lobby Bars".
Just curious where you prefer to meet. Bar seems safer but maybe providers don't want to be seen in the casino too much??
Does the time actually start when she comes out of the bathroom or when you first meet? I ask because it can take half an hour to get to the room from the bar in some resorts.
I have done both meet at the bar have a drink and then go upstairs or just go right up.
Usually speaking time starts when you meet but every lady is different some might have a drink at the bar and not that count time and many start the time when you meet.I don't know what hotel you are staying at that would take 30min to walk from the bar to the hotel elevators.
usually for a 2 hour or more date, meeting at the bar for a casual drink and chit chat is always nice. If the date is 90 mins or less, i am good with coming right up to your room .

I don't know if meeting at the bar is necessarily 'safer'... Meeting at the bar is a more of an extension of indulging in the experience with the lady of your choice. A chance for a cocktail and some flirtatious conversation... A peekaboo at some black gathers underneath a short black dress ..before your dragged upstairs kicking and screaming Ha!

And if you dress like a lady and represent yourself like a lady security should be no problem.
I've never had an issue in the least.

At some hotels elevator access is limited, so you may have to meet your lady at a casino bar or lobby area.
For example, Palazzo, Wynn, Encore, Aria all have security checking for key cards.
I say it depends on the guy and how screening went. I like when i'm given a call after the screening has been done. I love to talk. So a talk on the phone and I would feel comfy to meet in the bar area....but i must warn I'm 6'1 haha
Sometimes meeting at the bar is good to build a little tension, and I do enjoy talking and getting to know my lovely new friend. However I usually have a schedule that I need to stick to so I can't add much time onto the session as I would like. My preference would be to plan a little bar time into the appointment if the meet and greet is something you enjoy!
I don't like to meet at the bar for discretion's sake. If she wants a drink, I can offer her something from the mini bar or I'll have a bottle of wine or a bottle of her favorite liquor waiting upstairs. I actually prefer to meet my date near the gift shop.
As for when the clock starts, all the ladies I've seen start the clock once they are in the room.
