I'm coming to vegas in Feb 2018, last year I stay at MGM grand and provider coming to my hotel has no issue.  This time i'm going to stay at Monte Carlo, i was wondering if anyone know if Monte Carlo is easy for outcall provider to come without being stop.

thanks a bunch.

Guest rooms elevators are very close to main entrance doors and self parking. I’ve never seen security checking room keys so it should be fine.

They do not check and the hotel is very accessible for providers.

I am no longer using any MGM properties also and encourage others to consider using other properties until there is some kind of transparency with the recent tragedy. Perhaps they are under gag-orders to not share any info however as someone who almost exclusively used M-Life/MGM properties I am disturbed with the inability for them to have noticed someone (allegedly) bringing so much to their room and for the incident to have gone on so long without anyone going to the room or anything.

Perhaps I am being angry/paranoid/conspiratorial/dramatic/etc and hope not to offend by bringing it up but I will NOT be utilizing my rewards there or endorsing them. With all the surveillance cameras and hallway audio (yes, hallways in hotel floors have audio and some video - proof from the OJ robbery was shown/heard as part of his case for those who didn't know: a lot rooms/hallways have a camera or cameras) we should know exactly how this happened and know if MGM might have had an ability to prevent this. It's hard to say. Ugh, sorry if this offends or triggers negative for anyone, once again.

Might I suggest the Venetian or Wynn?

Thanks GoldieKnox

I guess i should've consult here before I book my hotels, yes I am regular MGM member.  Last feb when I came to Vegas, I stayed at MGM Grand, and one of well review/known provider came to my room without any issue.  I was hoping for the same for all MGM properties.  Venetian or Wynn is out of my budget, but i will be sure to keep that in mind next time.

If there is a security, i'll just take someone else advice, just meet them in a discrete lobby and go up together.

I have stayed at a hotel on the strip that has security by the elevators.  No key card? No admittance.  I always meet my lady friends and we walk up together.  Or, I hand them one of the key cards and tell them to meet me on my floor.  Nobody has ever been stopped or questioned.  Also, more of the seasoned professionals have a current key card as well.

I stayed at Monte Carlo in 2015 and there was none whatsoever (not sure if that's still the case).

Thank you all for the advice, I guess i just have to see it for myself once i'm there and make my own assessment.

I stayed at Monte Carlo two weeks ago, and there is no issue with security, or key checks. The hotel is still under massive renovations, so amenities are limited. Cheers.

I was at MGM last weekend and no issues getting up to the rooms. I was also at Monte Carlo recently and had no issues.

FYI- Venetian and Wynn have security at their elevators.

I usually would use the Delano because there was never security there, but on a recent visit there was a security person posted at the elevators!!  WTF!!!   We may need to update that list of hotels and security at the elevators.  I'll have to check the Cosmopolitan.

I was at the Cosmo today and still no security.

Delano had someone there in the evenings and I had to show card. I do not think MB had any.

Yes, Monte Carlo is full on remodel mode, but still a very convenient hotel (i.e. close to self parking, elevators). Keep in mind the T Mobile area and Vegas Hockey nights can cause parking headaches.

I do know that most all places have started charging for self parking (free if you have their comp card); but Palazzo was still free parking.
