Thanks for the info. I was planning on going to Vegas in the fall
but no longer will. Plenty of options

Not sure if the gents who are traveling to Vegas realize that it has become quite difficult to access strip hotels on l. vegas blvd. I understand majority of travelers to vegas do not rent  car and rely on Uber and/or Lyft as well as taxi.
Many of us ladies have tweeted about the horrible traffic due to construction and major delays with Vegas preparing for the Formula One races coming in Nov. 1hour to 2hr delays to get to the strip.
My client and I was coming from dinner downtown to get from 1-15 Flamingo Exit to Cosmo it took over 90min just for that short distance. Normally this would be a less than 10min drive.

Us providers are doing the best we can but there is no way to guarantee that we can be on time especially with flights being cancelled recently. If we leave 2hr early and then get a text/call/or email from client his flight delayed we are just sitting on the strip spending $ while waiting.
Recently,  I had a gent who could not understand  this and became very impatient and cancelled our appt while I was in valet of his hotel. Nevermind that he had no hobby phone only email so while inroute while dealing with traffic having to keep pulling over to read emails and keep him updated on my arrival time. Caused quite a bit of delay on top of traffic.

Sorry for long read but please be patient with us guys.
Thank you to all who have read this

This is 💯 correct. Not only the Strip, but many adjacent streets are being repaved for the F1 race. Vegas is a clusterfuck these days and likely will be until after Thanksgiving when all of the F1 stuff is gone. Allow extra time and be patient.

Yes thank you for adding this. The side streets that was usually a good alternative is not so much.

I totally agree about flight delays.  I'm headed into town this week and I decided not to schedule with any ladies my first night because of concerns with flight delays.

Appreciate the PSA, because it's also good to know traffic is potentially going to be a problem during this entire trip.

I’m certain your very lucky clients do not mind the wait to see you and spend time with you! 😍🔥😛🌹

Took me 2 hrs a few weeka ago to get just from near the Rio over to the flamingo hotel. I live only 25mins from the strip on a normal day. I texted my clients pics along the way and thank god he was understanding and had no where else to be. It's horrible

was understanding. My client was not and cancelled when I was in valet.
The valet line I sat in for over 30min after all of that driving .
I requested more than once for my client to come out to valet so he could see for himself. He refused to come out of hotel,

This is great to know. I have a trip planned for Labor Day week and was looking for a pool date. I'll have to rethink my scheduling which shouldn't be an issue.

Just letting gents know what is going on and to be patient with us providers. Not to totally cancel your travel plans to Vegas.

I’m in town now and hit traffic coming from airport and also during another two mile Uber ride.  But a couple of other rides seemed totally normal in terms of traffic.  Canceling a trip because of it seems excessive and unnecessary.  It’s just something to be aware of.

Exactly! Glad to hear you made it have fun!

So you try side streets to avoid the mess but each of streets that are alternatives are down to one lane ...my trick is now having to cut thru parking garages..yep you read that right
Around Paris and Planet Hollywood and Horseshoe I have had go into parking structures cut thru ... craziness
Also use the cut thru from behind venetian and Harrah's to strip through the parking garage of holiday inn/or casino royale...to Las Vegas Blvd ...
Cut thru mirage and TI to the back to get to industrial...I'm telling you it's desperate times use the garages as streets
Uber and Lyft is...if your just going in and out you don't have to worry about paying for parking...

Hope this helps...

I love your determination! Thats a great idea. I was heading down to the strip for a two hour appointment with a client I knew well and was very much looking forward to re-connecting with and got stuck on Koval because the I-15 and the strip was shut down. There were cones everywhere. I started to lose my cool while I could see the Wynn but not get there. I literally got out of my car and started throwing construction cones. Everyone around me started laughing and cheering me on. The cones were meaningless, just cutting off access to a perfectly good lane with no construction to be seen. I "heard" they get paid per cone placed so now I understand why I see so many cones for no apparent reason. Im going to go gangster next time and trying your route.

I have already experienced delays of providers to strip hotels in May (she was 2 hours late) & June (I warned her, but was still late). I am sure that the delays will continue while the roads get prepared for the F1 race in Nov. I am very experienced with the side roads away from the strip, but those can be non moving also. We all have to be aware of these delays even just getting getting to our hotel to checkin. I think the F1 route will be between the Venetian to the Aria on the LV strip and Koval. The F1 race in Nov. will be wild with so many international visitors.

Yes the delays will continue as I heard the construction is going up Las Vegas from in front of Bellagio up to the MGM
Definitely will be a crazy time I am excited to meet some of the visitors some gents have already started prebooking for November

I wonder  what  it's  gonna be like weeks  before  and after race  day ( crazy )
