So I've been sort of sending out texts to check up and see if a girl I saw a while ago (Cookie) was gonna come back on the scene again, but I've never gotten any response back from the booker. Don't know if this means the # no longer works or what, but I was under the impression that girls usually work for a few weeks and take a few weeks "vacation," then come back again after a bit. I get that girls tour sometimes too, but I haven't heard a peep about this one for almost a year.

Should I give up trying to see her again or am I just not getting something or looking in all the wrong places?

Sometimes they return.  The booker probably has no idea whether this girl will return.  Most of the girls I know 'tour' and are independent [they are not an agency girl in other words - they simply choose which agency to visit].  So, they may visit NYC for 2-3 weeks, go back to their home base, then visit Atlanta 2-3 weeks, go back to home base, etc.  They may not get back to NYC for awhile.  

Plus, if they are using the 90 day visa from Korea - then, they HAVE to return and stay for awhile.  It may also depend on whether the guys in an area treated them well and whether they made enough $$.  I think the former is more important than the $$ though from what I hear.  I thought cookie was just in the D.C. area recently.  Did not visit; but, thought I saw her listed.

There was a K-gal I saw regularly for about five years once.  We did lots of overnights, I was introduced to her friends and family, she prepared banquets for me.
Then one day her phone just rang and rang with no message announcement.  I kept trying her for months to no avail.
Then I gave up for a year.  One day as I was weeding out old phone numbers I saw hers and figured WTF, and called.  She picked up.  We started in just as before like nothing happened.
Then after a year the same thing happened again.
That was about 3 years ago.  I keeping that number though.
And she would not even give me a hint as to why she ever disappeared.  
It's not my business.
