Unfortunately we just got peltered with this storm and many of us ladies are not able to work
due to unfortunate circumstances.

Some still have no power....
Some have major damage to their homes due to trees or flooding,,even both...
Some have taken in family or friends to help them through this devastating Hurricane...

Grant you I am one of the lucky ones where I never lost power and I have no flooding or damage.
But my best gf is bunking in with me until she gets power.  Which means my incall is shut
down currently!  Yea it is putting a major crink in making funds to meet my bills.  However,
I am blessed in more ways then one.

Ladies...I would love to have you check in with me and this community to tell us your circumstances
and how you are doing?

Gents...feel free to chime in as well.

We need this community now more than ever to help uplift us all.  Gents...I encourage you to reach
out to your favorite lady and see how she is doing?  Does she need anything?  Maybe food or even
a few bucks to help her pay a bill?

This thread is meant for positive comments..please we have all been through hell...the ladies and gents.
no attacking in any way.

My mom always taught me if you can't say anything positive keep your mouth (or fingers...lol) shut!

Blessings and encouragement to everyone who has been through these crazy events that unfortunately
hit ALL of Florida and other states as well.

LOL!   Mackenzie was asking the "ladies"!

Mackenzie also asked gents to chime in as well.

You got yourself! Bzzzz!! LOL!

I decided to sit this one out and am staying with family near Atlanta and returning to Fort Lauderdale Friday, 9/22. I feel very fortunate, despite the unexpected earning loss, and my heart goes out to everyone impacted by the hurricane and its aftermath.

Lucky for me I was Abroad and came back to town to minimal damage.  Some minor wood floor damage from flooding but that is all fixable.
Now let's get back to business!

Well, not all that magical or easy. Think of all the dirt and sweat from so many electric company linemen working in Florida. Those guys need to know how much we appreciate their work and help.  It has been tough for many here and in Texas.

Our pets have been suffering as well. I have a dog who is a very lucky pooch. I dropped her off on Tuesday to run wild and leave all my company alone. She got to spend an extended vacation at her doggy daycare with all her friends till tomorrow. They never lost power.

I have many special elderly friends who have Kittys. Yes, the type with fur who purr and meow. The Owners went to special needs shelters and their pets to my house. I have a large porch with attached garage that turned out to be kitty condo land. The last kitty left yesterday afternoon. Sleeping on the porch with all those friendly little critters was not what I expected to do but was cooler than sleeping in my house.

Monday 11AM : Governor Scott Lifted the curfew to drive and that I did to check my friends places for damage. Luck have it little things easy to fix. I opened their windows and came home to my devasted yard and house full of pets. It's going to be an interesting night finding ways to cope with this for any longer than a few days. Yard work all day inbetween sitting on the porch to relax. Oh how wonderful the cool breeze was on this day but I knew it wouldn't last and needed to do as much as possible before the heat and sun returned. I'm sure most took advantage of this day as I did, especially if this was not your first hurricane.

Yard Clean up : If you have a house with trees around it you know what i'm talking about. I live in Lake Mary on a quiet road with a big lot of land. Along with every neighbor, I have this huge pile of yard waste. kept me busy, eating less and drinking more. The work will go on but i'm almost finished.

Need I say cold showers ..... If you're still without power, keep a barrel in the sun and fill it with water; the sun will warm it. I did this and then used a 3 gallon pail to fill my bathtub. Oh, the cold water came when I used the hose to rinse off all the sweat, dirt and grime before soaking in my tub.

Wed: It's refrigerator cleaning day: YUK .... Did my freezer and frig and set it out on the curb for garbage day. Then on to the 417 for a toll free drive to do the same at 4 other residences. So much food in the trash. If you have elderly friends or family there's a government assistance program of $175 per person to help get them started back. It's food stamps

If you have elderly parents Meals on Wheels is working and will try to help you .... Medical shelters are available with air and food. Heat is a killer for older people find a community shelter don't let pride get in the way of their living another day. Look in on your neighbors

I'm back on track with hot shower, washing my long hair and blow drying it, shaving my long 36 inch legs that were full of stubble and putting a little makeup on.

For those who are still in the heat or have lost much I hope things get better soon.

Kisses Haley

It worked for me as I flew out of Fort Lauderdale to NJ on Wednesday 6th and missed everything.     However, could not return till yesterday due to various issues with flights going in to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International and got rerouted to Tampa instead.

My condo is in good shape, high rise and no damage of any kind.

Great post - Checking in - Storming back in and ready to play ;) Hope ur well...

...boarded the house, packed up the dogs and left prior to the storm. As a native Floridian and after over 40 years of enduring Hurricanes (lost my roof in Wilma), I decided to sit this one out.  I am staying in Pittsburgh with family. Made a nice road trip to NY for a few days and plan to return to FL in a week. Thanks to many friends and neighbors who watched the house,  the update is:  minimal damage (lost the wood fence and landscaping, but nothing compared to others from Harvey and Irma).

My prayers continue for all those affected. We will rebuild!

Always Sexy~
