Is it me or has things in the hobby slowed to a crawl here in orlando? I keep getting told I'm to old or to tall or to nice. Seems everyone wants a teen or tiny cheap girl..
I came on here looking to see what's happening in Orlando as I'm also in the area. I'm 29, ethnic. Exact same thing is going on with me, and as far as I know...most everytime I travel here it's usually barely cutting it.
June seems to be especially slow. But Orlando itself is really about to see a massive collapse in the escort industry, if it's not already here. I almost thought I'd consider making a move here, and maybe things would be different. Glad I made one MORE visit to see it would be a bad idea. But I have family here, so I'm kind of forced to come here at various times throughout the year.
This place is a joke. Recently had a falling out with a regular here because he was so adamant about me moving here, but on the basis of finding me a job. As if I need to turn my life around for him, who's married. It's bad enough when I don't get enough work here, but some of the clients I meet here too...it's like gee, they really try to keep escorts manageable, aka "tiny".

It's Wierd orlando use 2 b a great place 4 the hobby. Then 1 by 1 the escort sites went down n disappeared n more n more ppl had a smart phone. Now the hobby is almost dead here.
I think with smartphone every sw can under cut the providers n clients in orlando now can get cheap with less fear of getting caught by the popo.
I remember when I had more clients then I could beat off with a stick. Now things have just slowed to the point I live client 2 client bearly.
Been in the area for years and have always found summer quiet. There are more families visiting Orlando than convention and medical meetings. This is nothing new. Since the year of 4 hurricanes back to back less businesses are booking the convention center.
What has changed .... Many more inexperienced ladies are flooding the area thinking this is a money making town. BackPage is loaded with young women hoping to make money and who knows they might be. You don't see the fire sale prices you use to because no prices are allowed in print.
Summer in Orlando means seeing your good friends that you have known for a long time. Touring to other areas seems to be the norm.
I stay here and enjoy the nudist resort and take a break from the late night dates.

These college girls n sw n just plan out fire sale girls are messing the hobby up. You get gents contacting who don't read the full profile or ad then are upset because you don't match or beat there rates. I tell them sorry I ain't walmart. If it's all about rates n you want cheap go see them.
I don't think price is the problem though.
The problem here in Orlando is FLAKES. People don't show up. The escorts don't show up, the clients don't show up. So people are forced to offer fire sale prices. I try to avoid that even during dire times like now, because it doesn't change the situation. I had a client in Tampa the other day, but by the time I paid for the hotel...nearly half my fee was gone. That's the other time, hotels here were cheap right after Memorial Day or any holiday...but then creep right back up costing nearly $100 at any place half decent. The next day I was broke again because nobody else showed up.
I'm resolving I'm just done coming to Florida with the idea of working here after this. I keep coming here thinking it'll be better or different but I think the only time it's worth coming here is February and September (when the rugrats go back to school.) when my overnight client is in state. Any other time it's been waste of time and money and tears. Just endless crap here.
The flakes just mess things up. I make sure 2 goto the hotel with my client that way I don't waste funds getting a room. Only my regular clients get discounts deals during this time and only when I'm in a jam or totally bored.
I recently visited orlando to work. I think It's all about location since it's so freaking big! Maybe locating closer to downtown where the business men are might help? Whatever your target market is, locate close to them. Also, there's so many girls advertising in orlando so you have to make sure to keep your ad's stellar and relevant. Make sure your ads are seen !! Jacksonville is similar in size and I've vistited 3x to work. My first two times, i stayed in the same area and did horribly. The third time I relocated to a new area and did phenomenal.
