Florida is the third most populated State behind California and Texas. Yet, based on volume of providers in this State, you would think we were just behind Montana and the two Dakotas!

There are some major cities here and lots of money.

Is it because Florida is simply God's waiting room?  Too many people in their 100's?
Honestly, I would think providers would be flocking here from December to April if not to enjoy sunshine while touring.

Thats basically only 50 providers in each city between Tampa and Orlando, split up between all the little side cities like Daytona, Ocala, Lakeland, Brandon, etc.
Literally nothing compared to other states like New York or Texas or Louisiana.

The money and volume just isn't here in Florida.  Yes, I get a lot of good guys that visit here from other places and see me.  Most I have met somewhere else.  I have a few Florida regulars, but they would barely cover the cost of my incall.  I don't even bother to run regular local ads anymore.  My profiles are up, and I get some calls, but the business is in the Northeast.

I have a day job and can't entertain men during the day like I use to. Luckily, my profession will be bringing me to Central FL for 2 weeks. I'll be able to play after 6 and on weekends.

Florida is what I like to call "the Wild West of the South". I know you've heard of the infamous "Florida Man", lol! On provider boards, I've heard it suggested time and time again that the entire state just be blacklisted. Now, I don't think that's a fair statement, but it is definitely among the most difficult markets to be an active provider. I attribute this partially to the popularity of some of the more unsavory boards (which shall not be named). Screening can be difficult. Demand seems weak, even in cities like Tampa (Orlando seems to love me, though, so that's nice!). I've also noticed that here in central Florida, guys seem to have forgotten how to introduce themselves properly, which I find odd - it's certainly not the worst offense, but it's never a bad idea to take a moment to make a polite introduction and treat others as you'd hope to be treated.

Here, November through March are the only months that I'll partake in providing. In fact, I'm headed out on a tour back to my home come the first week of March. I've heard that during the summer months, demand sharply declines - plus Florida summers are just too darn hot for me!

My clients are just about 50/50 between locals and business travellers - generally travellers volunteer complete screening info within the first or second message, have already done their homework on me before contacting me, and don't really need much coaxing. That always makes a great impression by begining the correspondence by building trust and makes me feel like the client is set on seeing me in particular. There's something extremely sexy about a man who knows what he wants and deliberately does what's necessary to obtain his desires. I've found myself explaining why I won't invite Mystery Men into my private space too many times.

This response was so much more long-winded than I had intended! I'm definitely sorting out my own thoughts and feelings about my experience here as I prepare to hit the road soon. It's been an interesting winter and I'm thankful for the gentleman I've met during this winter being generally quite lovely to me.

Orlando is family style at the buffet and Pretty much every where is early bird.  That being said I do love the early dirty birdies.  But Florida in general is slow and saturated (Miami especially).  Establishing regulars is very important in Florida. Cause the tourist/snowbirds season is short and sweet.

.... because it doesn't seem as saturated as other parts of FL typically area (like central and South). BUT I do plan to venture to other parts more this year.
I was told October/November thru May/June was the best time to tour FL in general.
Now if i'm wrong I definitely open to being enlightened :).

There isn't a wrong or right time to visit FL. The money is here year round. We have plenty of local gentlemen throughout the state, as well as business travelers and tourists. This is a cash cow state. I've been here since '05.

I've only traveled in the past due to countless e-mails to visit the men up North.

The only time it's DEAD, is when we have to evacuate.

I will be down in Fort Myers - Naples match 1-5 . It's season in Florida !!! Im also suprised more provider's dont go down to florida

It doesn't matter what month or day of the week it is. I've done very well all times there though I've heard it's aweful.  Still returning g this month. Just cutting Tampa out for the meantime as I have productions.  If you so desirable
And it shows plus can be attested to, it shouldn't matter.

The average wage in Central Florida is $20.70. Thats 13% lower than the rest of the country. Its also 5.2% cheaper to live here than to live elsewhere. If your trying to make the most BUCK for your BANG, you don't go to where the wages are the highest not the lowest. But there is some hidden profit and that savings of 5.2% in hotels, gas, and everything else. So its an added bump in pay, but since it seems that there is maybe a 25-50% increase in the rate you can demand in the north, well that 5.2% doesn't look that great anymore. Don't forget, there are retirees with the northeast money here, so there are always exceptions to the rule. In general the ladies flow where the income flows and its not as strong here. I still recommend Central Fl for a quick tour ( Remember those retirees are here ). And as a bonus, where else can you get off a few times and go visit Disney World all in the same day.

Damn, your use of money and percentages makes me tingle all over!

Interesting seeing this data

This Map Shows the Average Income in Every State—and What It's Really Worth - Money

So id bet there is a direct relationship to the escorting economy and touring ladies do.

I barely ever leave my own home. I don't "tour", EVER.
Once or twice a year, I go an hour south to Pompano Beach and
even less frequently than that, to the west coast of Florida (about 3 hours away).

MAYBE it's just me but, I never NEED to tour OR "overwhelm" myself.
Back to back calls is something I Never do, don't have to ...
IMHO, 300 an hour is a very good living (even with only ONE call a day AND,
to love what I do is "icing on the cake" :)
