Re: Smoking information in FKK clubs in Germany?

Germany is slowly following suit of the US by enforcing respect for second hand smoke. About a year or so ago they reacted a smoking law which requires businesses to have non-smoking areas. As the deadline for the law approached the clubs each set up smoking areas. Some clubs made entire floors non-smoking, others set up smoking rooms and the rest just designated areas as smoking. The problems soon began and it was found that the law would have to be changed as it did not give enough details. Thus the law was delayed and will be re-written and later enforced.

Knowing a smoking law will be enforced all the clubs have set aside smoking areas.

Palace: They took an interesting approach and build two glass walled rooms for smoking. The smoking rooms are centrally located, one next to the main area and the other behind the whirlpool. The rooms have ashtrays and air cleaners. It's pretty funny to watch how this works. The rest of the club is non-smoking. While Palace is not my favorite place it might be the best option for someone who has problems with smoke. Only smokers are affected and must enter these glass walled rooms when they need a puff.

World: Having so much area to deal with World made the dining area and lower level non-smoking. The main upper lounge and bar is all smoking.

Oase: Having so many areas connecting from one to the other they split the bar, lounge, pole dance area up. Some of it is smoking and some of it is non-smoking. If you notice the ceiling has vents for air conditioning which is suppose to help separate the air flow. Look for the no smoking signs on the walls.

Schieferhof: Due to the small size Bernd's did what many of the smaller clubs did. They made one floor smoking and the other non-smoking.

Golden Time: The main room at GT is still smoking but the rest of the interior such as the whirpool and sauna area is non-smoking. The tent outside has been both non-smoking and smoking.

What club is best, as stated above Palace would be your best bet. World second and Oase last as you would be forced to pass smoking areas at Oase.

If you have a problem with smoke in general then the FKK scene might be a problem for you. Most women smoke, while less today then 10 years ago when they all smoked and there were no designated non-smoking areas.

From my talks with the women many only smoke while at work, its a nervous habit which comes from the business. The other negative is the cigarette breath.

it gets worse, many clubs allow cigars. So be prepared to enter a room with several guys puffing on them.

The other problems that have been encountered with designated areas is how this affects where the women go. Clubs that have non smoking floors often have no women on them, they're all on the smoking floors.

Now if you're planning a trip to Dusseldorf which does not apply to the clubs in Frankfurt you  have less options.

Villa Vertigo: The club is basically one long room connected by hallways, they also have non smoking areas but you'll be in the same situation as Oase.

Living Room: This club is notoriously bad as the entire upper floor is mainly smoking and cigars are common here.

Acapulco Club: This club has dual levels and smoking is allowed in some areas, but for some reason it just seemed to be less of a problem here.

I won't go into the details for all the clubs but you get the idea. Smoke will be an issue pretty much at all the clubs. Get used to it, take time to visit the non-smoking areas and outside for a breath of fresh air. There is no real way around it. You might run into a few gals who don't smoke, this is becoming more and more common. Not only do many women smoke but many Europeans do as well.

Good Luck

I will be making my first FKK trip later this year flying into Dusseldorf. Unfortunately I have allergies and don't care for smokey bars. Which FKK clubs have the best HVAC and are less smokey? Do any of the clubs have smoke free areas?

Thanks, Contempt

Very cheered by this thread, as I'm an avid smoking fetishist. The disappearance of smoking strippers in the States has virtually driven me out of strip clubs, so the sightings availed by the FKKs further my interest exponentially in visiting them.

I don't think I've seen the topic of photography in the clubs broached here at all yet, so if someone could answer my question directly, and indeed whether the girls can be photographed in action, I'd be very grateful.

As to not start a new thread or hijack the original post I answered your question in a new post. See link below.

Thank you Derk. Your response was typically informative, comprehensive and well-presented.

Thank you, please let me know if I ramble on, don't mean to do this but with age this happens. Must be a lack off space in my brain. Glad someone appreciates the input and humble opinion.

I'll deal with aggravated allergies for some over the top fun! I love reading the FKK threads in preparation for my journey!
