You FKK experts would appreciate ideas on hotels in various cities near the FKK clubs that are clean mid-price range not much over $US 100 a night?
Look like Condor air has best flights direct from Phoenix at about $1100. Am getting serious going next June instead of my usual trip to Toronto.You can just youse google maps or booking to look for hotels, if you want more specific advice you need to mention which clubs you are thinking of visiting. There are dozens of clubs just in Nordrheinwestphalia.
Condor is what got me going there all the time but in the offseason have to fly thru ATL, NYC, HOU or WDC. Condor is like $900 in coach, $1200 premium and $1600-$1800 in Business; all steals. Now I must suffer the pain of sitting in coach for the off season. Sadly Condor at least here stops seasonal service . FYI the ontime % on outbounds is about 25% across the board ( flown out of Baltimore and Boston as well as Austin) , always leaves late and the ontime inbounds are usually right on time. The Frankfurt airport on the return can really suck ( especially coach) with long lines at check in except business class for check in ( never more than one party) , highly recommend paying up for Business as a business ticket allows you access to the Lufthansa Business class lounge while in Frankfurt so you can get there 3-4 hours early and eat and drink all you want in the lounge. I've flow them about 8 times now, besides terrible outbound delays up to 3 hours, it is a great comfortable flight seats better than British Airways, United and American ( the worst)
As to hotels, Google maps as stated and websites best way to get close. If using public transport ,and cabs combined ( as I have for ages) you stay by the RLD and the train station in central Frankfurt or whatever city you are in. Cars the best way to go I plan on it next time and if you go that route google Mercure Hotels, IBIS Hotels, Accor hotels ; all could be related as well, also 'premier classe. ' It just show happens I am about to pull trigger on a Delta flight head back to paradise. Ironically I am looking at the premiere classe site now, from the Offenbach or Frankfurt Airport location you have access by car to all Frankfurt clubs, the 2 locations in Cologne and 2 in Dusseldorf allow you easy access to all the ones up there as well as the all inclusive clubs in the NRW. The hotel is well under $100 and add in the price of the rental car you get overhead of about $100-$120 daily including transport and can avoid the pricey cabs.
With Condor, cheap German budget hotels and rental cars the FKK trips can be done on the cheap, most guys think it is much more.
