a long past roomie of mine was busted after he saw her 8 times.  Another had just "finished up" and the police cam busting in.  Of course these were years ago and yes it has been going like this for a while.  That is why the LE check or even meeting out in public is STUPID screening.  Heck, they can get your license plate # from your car if you meet for coffee, trail you to your place and monitor your space till someone arrives and busts you both.  

There are reasons why things are done carefully.  Not to get dirt on you but to make sure you are safe to visit.  References are not fool proof because many men act differently from lady to lady and if a lady has been busted she may co-op to get a lesser charge.  Nothing is ever 100% but we do our best to protect ourselves and protect you.
