when a provider is fresh on the market from retirement.. of along time.. what comes to mind?

that you are thinking about coming out of retirement, What comes to mind is you missed what you were doing. I dont think there's a issue. Just update your picks, since you have no reviews be sure to get a few posted just my 2 cents worth

I am in the process of coming out of retirement I guess is what I could call it..meaning the stage of letting guys know I'm available again.. and had been unavailable for so long im curious what guys think when they see a provider coming back to the industry? I'm really thrilled about it more then I thought because of the amount of gents that have "missed" me and that I love! Iv never "retired" so I'm just curious what the guys take on it is..

Well just my observations from random posts on the board:
Some guys are happy to have you back, some don’t care and are cool with having another provider on the scene, some guys are quick to assume the negative like, “Oh she couldn’t find a *real* job” or “she ran out of savings/missed the *lifestyle*” (bc many men seem to think we live lavishly as if we don’t have insane overhead to deal without) and others seem “the sugar daddy dumped her”.

You can search “retirement” in the board and probably see combinations of all these reactions.

I’ve never retired and come back? But if I were you I wouldn’t spend my time being curious what guys think, it doesn’t matter so isn’t really useful to you and if anything it would create some mental fog and cause you to reconsider the way you’re going about it.

Just do your thing girl and be happy.... welcome back!

Like happy to have another opportunity to see someone I might like to have seen but never did.

Also think the lady may be more enthusiastic about the hobby if she has had a vacation.

My first thought is usually that she retired to have a baby, now she wants to get back in the game like it was before. Only difference is, are you photos accurate and up to date? Do you expect the same rate after such an absence? I'm just cautious because rates are already more than any doctor and most lawyers. I'm just skeptical without knowing the reasoning for the retirement to begin with.

In addition to what others have said, in my case I would wait until you had a couple of up to date reviews.  I did this with a Chicago provider some years ago, who came back to the biz.  Once she had three reviews I was all in!  Glad I did too.

While indeed there is a performance element to the review, I am more cautious about a person might have a different agenda  returning to the hobby, if you catch my meaning.
