So what's with the mediocre ratings on providers lately?  Is this a reflection of hobbyists increased standards or lesser quality providers (and I don't mean to take a swipe at the quality of providers we have here in Chicago generally, as there are many outstanding ones, I'm just curious about this trend).  It seems to me there are a great deal of what I could call "C" grades out there.  A few A+, but lots in the middle of the class.  Is it that hobbyists aren't writing as many reviews?  Are we being more critical?  Are the providers not offering what's "expected"?  For example, PSE means PSE.  CBJ, no Greek, no facial, isn't PSE in MY opinion.  GFE as well has a certain baseline criteria.  It seems there may be different rules on each side of the equation.  Providers often don't let hobbyists write or discuss items ahead of time so how the heck do you each get a clear understanding of what's going to take place and what it will cost.  I've digressed here...but you get the picture.  Discuss - - - -

I think it totally has to do with the scale the reviews are being graded on.. It Sucks!!! For example I provide exceptional services for my clients yet I "CANNOT" get a 10 because I didn't do what the site determines as a "10". For example, if I visit a client that has a preference with foot fetish and only wants a BJ for that session and  I do an AMAZING Job. It doesn't matter HOW GREAT the session was, because the only way I can get a 10 is if those keywords (BBBJ, Greek, PSE, etc...) are in the review. The best I can get is an 8. I don't at all think that is Fair!!!!

Looks like you got a 10, in your latest review!

Yea after blowing up customer service trying to prove my point. Also my client was just the sweetest and helped in contacting them as well. I just think it's unfair that if you don't perform what the site deems as a "10". They make you lessen the score. Even if you've met all the expectations of your client.

It's just a system flaw in my eyes.

Although I totally agree that the new scoring system is NOT fair and tells us to do things we don't want to with our bodies if we don't want to,  to get a 10, your reasoning of getting a 10 in your last review is not fair and should not be allowed if we are talking about being fair and equal.
For some reason I am not able to see your reviews but I can see all the other ladies' .
No matter how much you try to explain TER how good of a service you provided, the rules are rules and should apply to everyone. We are in the same boat and NO exceptions should be made.
Just like yourself and most of the ladies who love what they do, I also provide an exceptional service and all my reviews say so. Read some of my latest reviews and my clients complain about the latest scoring system since they could not give me a 10.Why? Because there was no anal. I am not into it and neither my last two clients who reviewed me. My last review, yes I did get a 10 cause it was MFM.
So basically to get a 10, you have to do either anal or two men and not bombard the TER with emails or let your client do the same. Unless your client changed his review and said you have provided either of the mentioned extra services, TER should not change your score.
As I said earlier, the rules apply to all with no exceptions.
Just my two cents.

Off topic... Gaby... you are gorgeous!

If you tell client that if they write a review to put that you also provide greek, doubles, and BBBJ they can give you a 10

It's neither the providers or the hobbyists - it's the system, the admins. They've changed the grading criteria. It's impossible for me to get a 10 in performance because I don't do Greek or Gangbangs.

I've had a couple clients tell me they had to go back and forth with admins because they would not allow a higher score on performance. One review that I received could only go up to a 7 because the guy didn't know the hobbyist lingo and didn't include the acts we actually did in our session.

Here's what the actual guidelines say on the matter:
"An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.

If your review rates a provider higher than her maximum score, the score will be adjusted down to her maximum. "

Luckily my self-esteem isn't tied to my ratings so I don't really care one way or another. But how does anyone really determine if someone is 'Really Bi'? That sounds like discrimination, no?

And what does "offered" mean? Does a provider have to tell every client everything on the menu and ask him not to forget to include it all in any review he might write?

Sheesh.

I think there should be a degree of difficulty added to reviews.  I do a blend of AMP and visits with indy providers.  It is a different type of experience and service. But, each visit to either type of provider could be awesome.

Like a massage and HJ would be a 1 on the degree of difficulty. You could have an experience where it seems like Mt. Vesuvius erupted at the end of the session.  I don't want to do solely that but that doesn't mean that it isn't a great experience worth of a great review.

Is the issue. I actually do greek and am bi but if my client is not requesting it then i guess i cant get a 10 performance? No sense in that. Ive also had several clients going back and fourth with admin telling then they couldn't give me an 8 or 9 and to change it.

My rating has gone down uet my service is still phenomenal.

Its a really coercive fucked up system.

Re: The new system is .....
Making it hard to get 10's!!! Ugh

not just the numbers, of a provider who has caught my eye. You can't capture an experience in a number, and although a number may *look* objective (because, hey, it's a number, and math and stuff), if anything it is more subjective than the reviewer's verbal description. I know what I'm saying isn't a solution to the problems with the new rating system, but for what it's worth, I place even less importance on the numbers now when looking at reviews.

I completely agree!! The experience and the actual details mean way more than a number.

Even before the changes, I've never relied on the "numbers".  Numbers alone can be deceiving and misleading, so they don't pull much weight when I'm looking at reviews.  I rely more on what's in the written text which often provides more insight into the provider and the session, than a bunch of numbers.

So I personally am only allowed a 7 at the highest as I do not offer full service. In order to get a 10 on TER the provider has to offer a bunch of stuff. Hence, the ratings may look low but there is a ceiling and many of us hit it on a regular basis.

The rating system is very messed up, but the Admins are more so sadly. I have had clients go back and forth with them trying to change their review and tell me of it after the fact how hard it is to talk to them, and I've had three fake reviews that they won't take down even though proof has been sent off and erroneous information proven in the review. It's a very difficult process and a very one-sided system. I do believe though that as long as the client says the services are offered.. (which I do have available every session) that the 10 is possible. You don't have to actually perform it as long as your client says it was available.

...in a lot of them they'll also mention how they would repeat.
So ... lol *shrugs*.

to make sure they list all of the acronyms to get the score she's eligible for based on what she "did" during the session.

Lots of people here just want to "be" and not be human "doings" when it comes to spontaneity in the sack, so not everything gets "done" but they still want to write a nice review. Bam. Can't give more than a certain score.

Lots of people give up and don't want to wrestle with the system, if even a deserved high score as per the rules, and many people aren't trained to know all the ins and outs of the new review system and how it works. I think a lot will be missed, but that should be a nationwide change, not just Chicago.

Try reading a few of her reviews to get a better picture maybe?

Hey doll I love this post and have opinions about the rating system... I have been rated 60% 7/8 and 40% 9/10. I can honestly say that I would agree with the ratings I was given on each of the encounters and there are a couple big reasons why those numbers are so different each encounter...
First let me start by saying that I have been blessed with amazing, and respectful clients. I think that the reason some of them rated our interaction slightly lower is because of chemistry honestly. First few minutes in the door and you can feel a persons energy. Are they happy with my outfit, are they excited to see me... when the energy is off there really is no faking and both parties can feel it.
If a client is into DFK and a very GFE experience but they only want to book a quick visit or a 1 hr appt I find myself struggling to make the connection needed to really take the experience to the next level. I am mechanically still providing a more than satisfactory experience but nothing compared to the interaction I am able to have after 30 minutes of conversation and a drink or just a brief period of introduction.
I am a very compassionate person. I genuinely love people and feel that we are all doing our best to be okay in this crazy world. I want to make my clients feel invited and at ease but I just think in many instances there is not enough time to do so in the shorter visits.
Literally every 7/8 I have is from a 1hr visit and all of my 9/10 ratings are from visits of 90 minutes or more.
There has to be some level of common ground for me to give genuinely and completely and if I am robbed of that opportunity because my partner is rushing I always do my best but for sure notice a difference in every single interaction both physical and verbal.

After 50+ reviews I think I know what a 10 or 9 is and don't want them telling me there wasn't enough in the review to warrant a 10. I did find out that if you say that all that was on menu, you can give 10. Have seen some really weak reviews that got 9s and 10s. Advertise on TER and doesn't matter what you offer, you can get 10s lol
