There is this scummy website that advertises for escorts. I want to say the name of it, but I'm not sure if TER would approve. This website is advertising for me without my permission, using a number of mine I'd prefer not to have listed. Four times in the last two months I had contacted this site and had asked them to take their profile of me down....four times I have been ignored.

Looks like I no longer have an issue. I set up a profile on the Monkey site as a male reviewer. My plan was to give myself enough bad reviews so that no one would contact me, but I couldn't find my profile!
TER is an awesome resource. I truly believe this post of mine solved my problem

If you have that problem again, you can email the site, or the site's administrator, with a DMCA takedown request. A lot of ladies have had success that route, you can google for a template and just adjust the wording to suit your case.
so many times.. it's not even a joke!

Of course you're not the only one this has happen to. Its unfortunate, but not the end of the world.
The ladies I've known who successfully dealt with this have told me it took numerous contacts and threats. The other effective tool , if possible for you, is to have an attorney contact them under their letterhead demanding the removal of your image & ad.
