Golf season runs mid January to late October. The beach is less crowded and the weather more tolerable after Labor Day though.

There are two golf seasons. One is from late Feb. to June, and the other is from Sept. through November. The number of paid golf rounds determines the two peak seasons. The summer months are usually too hot. And of course, the golfing falls off just before Thanksgiving.
