I got stood up years ago by someone I had seen before. Previously, I found him to be very courteous and punctual....I even got a hotel room for our date because I knew he would show. To this day, I am so relieved I didn't leave him a voice mail chewing him out because he had a good excuse for not showing. The night before he was out late and hit a deer . His truck when off the road and down into a ditch, tossing his cell phone and everything else in the vehicle helter skelter. An ambulance came to transport him to the hospital. His cell phone was left behind.
I considered that a good excuse
Don't book again, don't further respond unless she had a legitimate excuse. It is that simple.
90% of the time it is a flake out and if it wasn't that person would eventually call with an apology. It happens a lot and it simply comes with the territory.
