So I spent the last weekend out side of Asheville for the Pisgah Mountian Bike Festival. I've ridden a lot of trails and gone to quite a few mountian biking events, but always just kind of hopped over western NC because it's not been a destination on my travel schedule.

I wanted to do a few demos from a couple different companies that all happened to be at this festival for the weekend, in what I was told was some pretty great mountian biking, so I decided to go, and had a blast.

You guys in the western Carolinas have got some amazing singltrack. A lot of places tend to overgroom their trails and turn them into really basic nature trails, which just wasn't a thing on these trails. The climbs and descents are pretty challenging, especially on the slick rock.

I'm pretty envious of your trails.
