As posted before, you say yes and then you get roughed up, feeling very unsafe and want to now say NO!---Well, Bucky! In NC you are up the creek! Remember that once you say yes, the guy can treat you however he wants to, and its NOT rape!
The above bill will be put forth to our esteemed (just kidding) politicians this upcoming week to change that law in your favor, call your NC senators and get it passed! I'm curious to see if the esteemed ones have the balls to pass this bill, good old boys and all, you know. They go home and the gang roughs them up for siding with the ladies. The boys gonna say now WE have no protection, they (the ladies) can holler RAPE! and we get busted! Gonna be interesting the outcome of this one, as to who takes the ladies side and those who side with the good ole boys. Does not matter what line of work the ladies of NC perform, you all deserve the right to be/feel safe when things get amorous!After the idiocy with HB2 I'm not holding my breath expecting sanity from the North Carolina General Assembly.
It's scant comfort that under the current system while they can't charge the guy with rape, they can still charge him with the lesser offense of assault and battery. So it's not like he's escaping without a criminal record.
