I don't "get" the issue of alias..

He's asking for a suggestion, NOT a confirmed date.  It's still up to him - and her - to agree to meet

I personally suggest highly rated Nicole Sanders/Bella Maytress in RT

Will be down in NC around the Research Triangle area for a few days next week. First time. Any tips on provides or agencies? Also, any suggestions on good restaurants (esp BBQ) nearby

Don't post and inquiry like this under an alias .

Everyone else apparently always does, hence all the clicks but no replies.

I choose to look at it differently instead of the usual OMG an alias, don't say anything, who knows who is behind it. Theres many valid reasons for inquiring under an alias. Not just negative.

Either help or just don't reply. If concerned about why the person is hiding their real handle, just say nothing. But in the grand scheme of things, giving some simple, general suggestions isn't going to incriminate you. Especially referring someone to a BBQ joint. ;-)

There's many lovely ladies advertising on the Carolinas Ad Board. Some in Raleigh, also many of us travel by request. Yelp, Google and TripAdvisor are great ways to find delicious local food.

But the original poster probably wanted some suggestions on company and food from..... local people on the board. Makes sense

What it is saying to the OP is a PM from his board handle which would allow someone to see his review history might be helpful.
Most are going to be more comfortable assisting someone if they have an idea as to who that someone is.
There are sound reasons to occasionally post with an alias. But a simple inquiry , like where's the good BBQ ?

Gabby , I have frequently recommended you. But never to someone unwilling to use his board name.  I think many others might feel the same way. Thus my response. Might have better luck not posting such an inquiry under an alias.

But , if you insist I will  respectfully respond to his BBQ question.
The best BBQ is about 1200 miles west of here . It's called Missouri.

But personally I don't think people should be so standoffish towards such a simple basic inquiry, even though it's an alias

I'm posting from my iPhone. I'm not sure why the alias came up. I got no reason to use it.

I will reply to this post will my not-alias.

I really would appreciate any advice.
