How do you keep up to date with everything that's happening and where  places to avoid are?

I could imagine this would be a problem when girls are doing multiple Hour bookings  over a day the day. High traffic and constant requests for towels draws obvious attention.

Being this is my side profession, a permanent incall location is not a viable option. By implementing a 90 minute minimum I am happy with it being my only appointment for the day as I can still bring in profit after covering the hotel expenses. This isn't possible with an hour booking and would require multiple bookings before profit is made. Occasionally I will offer the option of hour booking if someone really can't do longer, but I never see more then two people in one day and always leave a decent amount of time between appointments. Therefore the window of opportunity for it to happen is limited

Boston Glob,

Law enforcement met with managers and employees of local hotels north of Boston Tuesday in response to human trafficking arrests that were recently made, according to Andover police.

If everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing there will be zero problems. This is a fact! In 15 YEARS I've never had any issues with law enforcement. If I keep doing what I've always done, I'm going to keep getting what I always got.
If you choose to see agency girls, that's your handicap.

I agree that both provider and hobbyist have to continue being smart with screening, etc..  But we can't ignore the fact that this new initiative by the AG targeting buyers and linking human trafficking doesn't change things.  I can't remember the environment ever being like this around here.

I hate to admit it but this approach by law enforcement has changed the way I seek companionship.  I can't justify using reputable agencies anymore, similar to avoiding BP and massage parlors previously.  I'm also more selective with independents these days.  I think twice about those who are brazen with their social media, videos/pics, and even how they advertise their "services" and locations.

As this abolishment evolves, buyers arrested, agencies closing, it's only a matter of time before indies are targeted.  I hope I'm wrong but it would be naive to think it couldn't happen.

Let's not throw all agencies under the bus, the message the police are using is to have hotel workers be more aware of what is going on, that affects both indies and agencies, I use two agencies frequently as they offer more options and flexibility with timeframes.  One agency works out of an apartment building, so that keeps nosy cleaning ladies out, the other agency works downtown in luxury hotels that are so busy, security and hotel managers can't keep up

I'm not throwing any agencies under the bus or passing judgement on anyone.  I agree the message from the police to hotel staff affects both indies, agencies and hobbyists.  However the message from our AG about human trafficking and charging agency owners with Trafficking in Persons for Sexual Servitude has caught my attention to say the least.

Check out what happened in Atlanta to an agency running out of apartments.  56 people arrested including the owners, escorts and clients.  All of their names and faces published for everyone to see.

I'm not saying I agree with it or like it, nor trying to be an alarmist, just a fact of the atmosphere in this city and others.  This is my personal choice so to each his/her own.

Ok, I'm officially paranoid now. I may pick up a bottle of lotion and a copy of Swank and just make do with that for awhile ....

LE is targeting providers offering incalls. They're asking hotel staff to watch for traffic to and from rooms throughout the day. A provider going to an outcall may be noticed by staff, but a woman coming and going once isn't likely to be enough for them to be sure of what's going on and notify LE. Multiple guys coming and going to one room throughout the day is what will be noticed, and warrant a call to LE.

First is the fact that you potentially limit yourself to only those who are visiting.  As a local, it's not practical to make that kind of investment for a short duration.

Second, locals are not always able or willing to have a visitor. What do you suggest they do?

Then there is the additional cost of outcall. Depending on the lady, this could be enough to dissuade a potential client from contacting a lady.

Just some initial thoughts.

I'm not saying that there aren't downsides to it, namely the increased cost if you need to get a hotel, but it is a much safer alternative if you're concerned with LE. About half of the guys I've met so far have been local, so I don't feel too limited. I don't really need more than two or three appointments per week anyway.

Since arriving back in Dallas from my Boston trip, I've been keeping an eye on the area. Even I am a bit wary to come back with everything that has occurred. However, major pressure from some lovely ladies and a couple gents has given me a change of heart.

Someone mentioned outcall only which is true - no one may think twice. If you're seeing an Independent provider and she has a private incall (that is not a hotel) that is also available. If you do see a provider at a hotel, I would ask if a key card is needed to go up to the room. If so, it could raise suspicions with her consistently coming downstairs to meet a client. However, if it's keyless, would the staff even really know? Regardless, thank you for the heads up. Y'all stay safe out there!

Knowing a couple of trusted indy providers and avoiding all agencies. I won't see anyone new unless it's a direct referral from someone I trust. In Boston metro.

I've seen stuff like that before and have always wanted to get a copy of their presentation. Counterintel, and all that.
Maybe I'll use my Upright & Concerned Citizen persona to get one.
On another note, the same PR flak is offering advise on how to display your house number. I bet he's good at "Where's Waldo?" too.

I've heard about police "trainings" for hotel workers before. It's a thing.

Doesn't it strike anyone else as odd that minimum-wage workers should be asked to attend these trainings and "keep an eye out"? Hopefully some of our lovely local activists can get in touch with hotel workers' unions and push back against this nonsense.

...compared to what they normally do.
