Recently, I got the chance to try out a Neon Wand and TENS Unit. In the past, I'd thought of e-stim as an experience I was curious about, but unsure of if or when I'd ever give it a try. I'd previously thought of those types of sensations as a soft limit. Partially because I was certain little zaps on my arms and thighs, or on even more tender places like my breasts would be a sharp, unsavory feeling but that wasn't the case after I actually succumbed to my desires. Make sure you use some sort of conductive gel on the pads - it really does make a difference.
I don't put pads across chest (like one on each nipple) - even though the warnings are when a pace maker is involved, I don't care to take any chances.
Start low and increase the power gradually, find the spot that is almost too much, then go a little more - pushing your boundaries in little bits makes it easier to take more and more.

When "playing" with a Tens unit, or any other similar device, limit your activity to "below the belt line".
There are some very old devices that generate the same sensation as a Tens unit but with much greater intensity.
The real trick to this play is having the right attachments.
I have played with electricity a few times. The violet wand is fun from a bdsm pain play perspective. The TENS unit, if it's what I am thinking of, can be incorporated into play in a different way. Forced muscle contraction, but not painful.

I never had a bad incident, everyone love it , so I decided to move to a next level to a ET312B from ErosTek It's not cheap ( around $700) but definitely worded the price. It brings the pads, and other insertable attachments.
My advice is try it when you are deeply aroused. Electricity like many other things don't feel the same if we are not in the right mood.
