I google the phone number or email of a provider and get a list of pages to check out and on some of them you see the words Bust, Sting, etc. I have always noticed these in different areas and stayed away. This question is mainly for any providers who may be reading. Have you ever had one of these associated with research on your information and are these sites legitimate? I have always wondered if it is from a disgruntled client or maybe another provider/pimp who may want to force you out of the area. I try to stay within the confines of this site but in some remote places there are no providers showing up.
...and has been discussed here previously. The sites in question crawl the Net scavenging up Providers ads then posting them on the bogus sites. Two things happen that they profit from one being that it generates traffic to redirect to other sites and second being that they will remove the false "impression" created for a "fee" ie blackmail... c'est la vie

Thanks for the information. It still bothers me that it may be connected somehow but how is a guy to know. 
Don't take my word for it of course, do you due diligence step. out there and use the search feature provided here and on the Natl General Discussion Board....let not your heart or mind be troubled
When I first started, I didn't have any reviews so TER was slow for me. Therefore, I had to advertise on other sites to get business. I advertised a few times on BackPage which resulted in other fake/troll sites stealing my info and pics. They then posted them on their sites as ads. One site stole my info but used other pictures. It was a mess. Total Nightmare!!
Another site stole my complete ad that I had posted on EROS word for word including pictures.
When I contacted the sites to take down my info, they wanted me to PAY them to do so. It's blatant blackmail/extortion. So there's really nothing we can do about it except inform our clients that this happens and it isn't our fault.
Thank goodness I was able to get reviewed on TER and have my website up.
Thanks for your reply and I am sorry you had to go through such BS. I think most guys really appreciate TER and how it can help us sort through all the garbage.
