Well, it looks like the paid Cartegena escort at the center of the Secret Service sex scandal has seen the light and will no longer be providing her services for a modest fee. Instead, she'll be going on a press tour junket and is in negotiations with Playboy for a picture spread.

Now THAT's making lemons out of lemonade. Let's see if the client, who has already been fired by the Secret Service, will fare as well. ha.

He ripped her off, plain and simple.  A thief is a thief is a thief no matter how expensive his suit his or how lofty his title is.
He deserves everything he gets and more.

He was outed. He lost his job. He is losing his house (he put it for sale at a time where it's a buyer's market). He is losing his wife and marriage. He is losing some of his friends.

What else more do you think he deserves to get?

Based on his actions with that paid escort in Cartegena, I propose that he was NOT thinking at all (and certainly not that he was smarter than ANYTHING).

and got exactly what people with that attitude deserve to get.

Anything beyond what I could even imagine.  I suppose so far it's good, but if anything else should happen to him, oh well!
Stealing is right up there on exactly the same level as physically harming in this "working girls" mind.

I don't believe stealing is on the same level of physical violence by any stretch of the imagination. If stealing is such a "threat", then perhaps one should request the donation amount upfront.

If you were a "working girl" who had been ripped off and seen other's ripped off, you would feel it is the same offense as physically harm.  We must take a very hard line against ripping off otherwise we would be fair game for everyone to pull this shit.

No, I would NOT. I'd have more common sense to know that theft does not even come close to physical harm. While I do believe theft is a serious crime, it does NOT even come close to physical harm.

to know what goes on in another woman's mind.  For me, being stolen from is on a total different level than physical harm.  Money is replaceable, my body isn't.

Agreed. You'd think this comparative relationship would be common sense to most, but it turns out that common sense is NOT quite as common as some like to think it is.

The idiot who caused all the trouble for being a broke dick is out of that line of work for good. He will be lucky to land a job working for a small town bondsman and the one who is banned from holding a clearance again can hang it up too. The rest will land jobs pulling security for high profile citizens or running security for casinos which both pay way more than that sec.serv job did.
