of the Atlanta board low participation. Something is very wrong if I am the top poster. Atlanta board use to be a hopping place and I miss that. Maddie
I think that it has had a greater negative impact than originally thought. I miss all the posters, even those that I didn't agree with. Seems the community is shrinking.

I agree as I have not been active at all. The last time I checked the cases were still open and the Dekalb DA has not set a trial date. They have two years from the arrests to indict the accused. My thoughts are the police fucked up on the procedures and if the would go to trial the cases would be thrown out on those grounds. Of course the arrests will stand so LE has accomplished one thing by fucking up their lives. Anyway, just my thoughts on how dirty the police are in these matters. It may be awhile before I venture out again in this arena.
people will feel more confident. It's made screening more difficult with new clients and understandable so....we have too much to lose to not be careful.

One reason why the business is not bouncing back after the police action might be because posting Providers are being blackmailed for money. Last week I received a PayPal request for $40 from a guy threatening to expose me to the police if I didn't pay him money.

I'm sorry that happened. There are some truly shitty people in this world, there are also some really good people..... sometimes it is hard to tell the difference. This guy however is a real jackass.
If this actually happened he is a complete dumbass because you can report him to PayPal and he will be easily traced and arrested for violating several serious Federal laws.
The epitome of a scam...they always ask for a small amount because people are more likely to pay it...Send a nice GFY back to him...
Personally I'd use his email account to sign him/them up for every crappy pay porn site I could find.
It takes a special POS to do something like that. Hopfully nothing comes from it. Honestly, in any given locale LE already knows who’s advertising because that’s the nature of advertising. What can be proven in any given situation is something else altogether. You know this already I’m sure, so I guess my point is that the imbecile who made this request of you doesn’t really pose a threat so long as your normal protocols are sufficient. If any of the providers I know personally be confronted with this I’d want to know so I could offer my help if they wanted it.
