Bacchanalia

It is a wonderful unique experience for a foodie. You will get a 5 course prix fixe experience where you have a selection for each course. There will also be little treats and palete cleansers in between courses. It has been a couple of years since I went so I can't recommend specific dishes but everything was very good.

Service is exceptional. This is the place for a very special occassion with a foodie.  

Depending on wine pairings expect to spend at least $150 per person with tip.

Truly one of the finest restaurants in the USA! They are constantly evolving and never sit back on their reputation. Been there many time (going back to the original on Piedmont) and never have been disappointed.

BTW, I have been to many 1, 2, and 3 star Michelin restaurants around the world and if Michelin reviewed ATL, Bacchanalia would certainly achieve a Michelin star or stars! FYI I am a CIA trained Chef as well.

I have been many times over the years since it was in Buckhead then Westside and now a few times in the new location.  The service is as good as it gets in Atlanta (or any place else!).  The new restaurant is beautiful and dramatically different from the previous location; much more relaxed- think elegant country if that makes sense.  It may be because they've included so many windows and the landscaping  is more part of the experience vs. the previous location being an elegant cave!  

The food has been a little disappointing.  They set their standards very high, wanting to compete on national standards and not just being THE place in Atlanta.  Their Atlanta competitors are Aria and Atlas and if just considering the food- Staplehouse (some may disagree about this last one but you're welcome to).  I prefer one of these other restaurants If I am going to dine at this level although I could go back because I like the setting and the restaurant's energy so much.
