When I was in corporate America and had a company cell phone the last thing I would have ever done is use that for anything not business related, especially calling a provider or agency. Any information put through a company phone line or a company email address is the company's property. Years ago before I was married and retired the hobby phone and email were the only ways I would have ever communicated in this world.
I work for a company where the vice President of sales was fired because the affair he was having with his secretary was well documented between their two emails. He pissed off one of the board members very bad and I believe they went on a witch hunt until they could find something to fire him with. It was obviously his fault for being stupid enough to communicate via company email.
I have let my guard down some and use my regular phone with my regulars but we know each other's real names and I don't feel any threat. I still use my hobby phone and email when traveling or contacting someone new.
I think anyone married or working that is not using a hobby phone and email is just asking to get busted.
My email account is Free and my phone service is $80 per year. Damn cheap insurance
One of the ladies received a call from her nephew on her only cell phone. It appears the nephew was trying to inform his aunt that he had arrived at his Army Units Bivouac Area. He further stated his Cell phone battery was dead and he had to borrow one of his Company phone to call her.
Later he was brought before his commander to explain “Why he was calling an Escort with the company phone”. It appears not only did he not know what his aunt did but also his aunt was not smart enough to have two phones.
I have no idea what the outcome of the Army's investigation was but I suspect it was not positive for the young man.
Perhaps Coach was arranging a recruiting exercise?
