Needing some advice from the community!
Looking for a rental home but I don't have the best credit. Help...I would consider renting a home from an owner. I would offer 3 months rent up front if he runs your credit. If you have been actively working on your FICO score, that is a good sign also.
Apartments in metro Atlanta areas are very strict. It sounds like you are relocating form another state. With an apartment you are going to need some help of paystubs and possibly a co-signer if your credit is not 80% favorable.
I think you would be happier with a home too and much more spacious and privacy

due to being busy and trying to straighten out my own mess. I am not sure if you are already here and searching or searching from the internet from another state. It would be really nice if you have some ties to Ga and could ask some people that know Atlanta. I have been out of the city for a long time and it's changed. Also, there is a provider only board and not sure if you are a member. I joined over a decade ago and can still go over for advice but I haven't yet. I am unsure of good area myself and thinking about traveling or keep going UTR until I find an apartment with downstairs basement apartment facing the woods.
If you are relocating from the hurricane damage and never visited our city. Some areas that have scared me visiting, I will tell you in a pm.
