So visited a well regarded and reviewed provider in the Galleria area at a typical upper mid-range hotel. My first time out since the events almost a year ago. Later, I started to worry about the chance of an ongoing video taped sting similar to the apartment one. Seems unlikely they'd target an independent and have time to wire a hotel to gather information but the thought occurred to me late last night. In that since Uncle accomplished their goal.
Any thoughts on the likelihood of such a thing? Personally haven't heard to hotels used for something more than an immediate sting.... for identifying Johns LE would target an independent working from a higher end hotel, or even a mid-level. LE might use a hotel like this to lure Johns, but then there’s no Indy involved.
Seen anyone in over a year. I agree that LE would not target an independent provider at a high end Hotel. They usually target and set up stings at low end motels with back page girls. Even though it’s probably safe I still can’t bring myself to get back in the game because you never know what LE has in their bag of tricks. Just getting arrested would be pretty much end my career and married life. Still none of the people arrested last year have a trial date so prosecution for this is probably nil but the arrest factor would be devastating.
The situation your post describes wouldn't worry me in the least.
He has good ways to protect yourself if a cop ever does confront you.
Last year they can make the arrest at a later date on not when the event is underway or propositions are being made. The risk for me right now is just too great so I will other’s go and have enjoyment in my place.

But it's true, as long as you are not "caught in the act" and getting caught in the act is very unlikely as they would have to catch you not only having sex, but paying for it to boot. The cops could kick down the door right in the middle of your downstroke, but unless one of you "admits" it was a paid session, or unless there is video evidence, it's impossible to prove a crime was committed. The problem is, "most" guys/girls start pissing all over themselves the moment they come face to face with LE and start confessing to shit they did in grade school.
Just remember if they have you "dead to rights" you are NOT going to be able to talk your way out of being arrested OTOH, if all they have is suspicion, it's VERY possible to talk yourself into jail.
