Perhaps this community would be better served with an "observation" of Beaver Day in lieu of Groundhog Day.
While Punxsutawney Phil may be a traditional weather marmot, I am certain that this group would celebrate and appreciate the prognostications by any and all local Beaver contributions. The debate would be whether a Beaver that shows its shadow (neatly groomed or an all natural pelt) or a Beaver without a shadow (shaved or waxed bare) or perhaps something in between (landing strip or other atrful trimmings) is the best harbinger of Spring Fever. While perhaps not Sharon Stone's gratuitous beaver shot, some gratis postings of local Beavers could stir the senses of our chilly tribe. Instead of a few stodgy town elders judging, the mongers here could each assess for themselves the pleasing images of beavers and their shadows, obscured or shorn. What say you TER community? How 'bout them... Beavers? Can I get an amen from Admin as a possible photo theme? P.S. Regardless of the above outcome, Andie MacDowell was hot in the movie.

Great to see a great elder stateman such as yourself posting here again. I hope you have been able to observe the behavior of a few beavers recently.
Your parties have always been the toast of the town. You have put together quite a list of wonderful women at your previous events and i am sure that your efforts can again make those shindigs bring back bounteous bevies of beautiful babes (and the mongers that appreciate their presence) .
