In the linked post ncreaver said to Brittany: If you do come, take all necessary precautions. And don't get into specific details here. Uncle LEO's taking notes.

I agree with everything you he said. The other replies in that thread and the replies to my shill post sparked something and then ncreaver's reply got my mind working. Always a dangerous thing. This isn't directed to or at ncreaver or anyone in particular.

The reply to Brittney caused me to think, these things are what we have always done and advised others to do. (I guess I need to add, Or should be!)

Taking precautions and being discreet is top priority.
Don't post specifics in a public forum is essential.
LE reading these boards and otherwise paying attention is nothing new.

It seems now advice is being given to be cautious, don’t get noticed, don’t give out too much information, as if we only have to do that because of the bust in late 2016. We need to do these things weather that happened or not. This advice is all over these boards especially the Newbie Board. Has been since I registered about 10 years ago. It’s part of the point of the site.

Unfortunately, now we really aren’t saying anything. The Atlanta board is almost inactive. My Shill post is the first one in I don’t know how long. There are a lot of new reviews. Where are the shill posts? (Yeah, I know, a review can be a shill.)

Meet & Greets absolutely nothing wrong with folks getting together for drinks and conversation. I trust the hosts to screen well. They always did before. The last scheduled one had to be cancelled due to not enough people responding they would attend. We need to have one. It would do us all good.

Atlanta needs to move on, Not forget (the event or the people it effected), but move on. Consider there have been no issues since then. One metro city was involved. There weren’t any problems in other metro cities before and haven’t been any since. Everyone should keep doing their research and screening. We need to stop being scared and stop scaring others. See well reviewed and/or otherwise verified providers. Due diligence when researching an independent or an agency should be your default setting.

We have had I don’t know how many ladies tour here in the last 14 months. I don’t know of a single LE problem. Do you? Some of the ladies even posted in their ad a general location where they would be. (EX: Alpharetta, Buckhead)

Some have said people grew complacent about communications, didn’t screen as well as they had or should, didn't research, and didn’t keep their business to themselves as they should. Yes, that is probably true and it’s something everyone needs to be vigilante about because the natural tendency when doing something often and it always goes off without a hitch is to begin to believe nothing serious will happen. You have to fight that tendency. It may have been a contributing factor but minimally.

I wish TER would let me high lite or underline certain points but the software doesn’t allow it. I’ll simply list the things that need it.
Move on but don’t forget -  Be Discrete – Be Vigilante - Research – Screen, not as if these are new but like you knew to do all along.

I hope you all have some thoughts and will share them.

The M&G thing has always sounded fun to me, but I've never attended one. Mostly that's because I'm on the road so much, but also attending these kind of events is not usually my kind of thing. That said, if one were being planned I'd definitely consider attending if my schedule made it possible. Some of you creeps (LOL!) deserve to be met! All of these beautiful providers deserve to be met!!!

Though I've been a paid member here since (I think) 2013, only this year have I made an effort to engage any discussion on the local Atlanta board, or any TER board that I recall. I decided to engage discussion here because everyone kept talking about how the Atlanta board had died. I thought I'd do my part given that a lot of my playtime is in the Atlanta area.

My hobbying in and around Atlanta has not changed at all since the scene or late 2016 early 2017. Lots of beautiful providers. Lots of fun to be found in this town!
