One thing you should know about Vietnam is that it's illegal after 9pm for a single woman (unmarried couple)  to stay in the same room.  There would be some 2 star hotels that would let you but any of the 4 or 5 stars won't let you unless you book a separate room.  The Tinder App is very useful to find girls.

Unfortunately, they came too late for me, as I'd already left for Hanoi.

I rely so much on TER that I forgot to check other sites that are stronger on the international scene.

So, knowing nothing about the city's hobby scene, I didn't even try any escorts.  Interestingly enough, I got propositioned twice by a hot lady on a motorscooter...but I didn't want to end up in some sketchy place she might have, which who-knows-who in the back room, so I steered clear.

I'm going to Hanoi (and Hue and Hoi An) in a few months, and wondering if there's any new 411 on the subject. In particular, I'm looking for leads on bars and clubs where the escorts hang out.
