ISO Viagra advice

Hi all

I'm 61 and have had more and more trouble getting and maintaining a hard on so am going to be trying the little blue pill in a few days. I'm paying about $200 for three 50mg pills and want to get as much mileage out of them as I can. Do I risk getting no results if I cut 1 in half and try that first?

Seems like you're paying WAY too much for the stuff.

You're going to have to experiment with dosage which will cost you money, but generally it's better to start with a lower dose to see how that works and gradually increase until you get a good result.

Sometimes it's cheaper to buy out of pocket. Also Viagra is generic now. Phizer is even putting out a generic to compete with itself. Their generic is about $30 a pill for 100 mg. Ask your doctor. Other generics will be out later. Call around to different pharmacies.

Ask your doctor about Revatio. It is sildenifil (Viagra). It comes in 20 mg pills. I get 30 pills for about $23. I pay out of pocket. My insurance is not involved and doesn't know. I do have a prescription from my doctor. I take 3 which works fine for me. You could take as many as 5 if you need 100 mg. With the 20 mg pills it's easy to try different doses.

100 mg actual Viagra worked fine for me but I found 50 works very well and reduces the side effects. I used to cut the 100 mg in half. I started using the Revatio about 6 months ago after discussing it with my doctor.

Thank you so much, this is great info. I knew that generics, including Pfizer's own, were coming to market but are they available already? More importantly, I've never heard of Revatio which sounds like a great option and I will check this out pronto.

Thanks again!

My GP tipped me off on these goodies last year. At $2 per pill at local pharmacy truly a bargain in Hobby world. They come in only 20 mg  un-coated  pills. 100 mg work best for me at 72 yrs old so I drop 5 pills 1/2 hr prior to serious play. Gives me a chance for "get acquainted" chat time with new girl or catch up with repeater until they  kick in. (faster on an empty stomach) They work great for me. They turn me back to a 30 yo stud again for an hr or 2. I`ll take that any day.
Only side effect I`ve noticed is sometimes a very slight headache which goes away as soon as I eat and drink after play. Easy trade off there.
Experiment with dosage, YMMV.

I`m on BP meds so Doc says skip those on play day as the Sildenafil acts as  a substitute for the BP.

GoodRx.com. The result was I received 30 20mg pills for about $28 with refills for another 7 bottles within a year. I use either one or two 20mg pills depending on how much food I have had in the previous few hours. As was said, the less pills you use the less side effects (headache, sinus issues, etc.) you will have.

They should have an FAQ for the 60+ board that includes this post, given how often Viagra threads get started.

I assume you obtained your Viagra scrip from your urologist, and that he/she checked for drug interactions. The pharmacy will check too, but only if they know everything you take.
Next, talk to your uro about sildenafil.  That's it, just sildenafil. It comes in 20 mg pills. My urologist had no problems writing the scrip for how ever many I wanted and as many refills as I wanted since my insurance is not paying.  I went online and got a coupon from GoodRx, went to the pharmacy and got 30  20mg pills for $16.

If you're in Vegas, I would take a quick flight/trip to Mexico and go to a LEGIT pharmacy. No prescription needed.

I loaded up on thousands of dollars worth of Viagra for a few hundred bucks.

Get a prescription from your urologist and try "canadadrugstop.com." They are legitimate Canadian drug company and I received 12 viagra for $84.

Viagra has been generic a long time in Canada due to an error in extension of patent paperwork.

I get Canadian manufactured (not from India) 100mg 30 pills for $99.  I forget if $99 is CDN or U.S. so may be less $US.  Am looking at last receipt from 2016 (don't have an opportunity to need that often!)

I wonder if it will be this cheap in the U.S. now?

Of course, you need an Rx but works fine from a U.S. doc.  I would be hesitant to use any site that does not require an Rx. There are lots of fake viagra sites.

I am an older gent and The blue pill did get me plenty ready and hard, but it also made it very difficult for me to finish and cum, as well as plenty of other side effects so I do not take them anymore.  Within the 2 last years I learned that a lot of the ED issues are simply being low in nitric oxide. I ordered a test kit online and sure enough I had a nitric oxide deficiency. I used the neo40 supplement which actually helped me significantly $40.00 for 30 day supply online no prescription was needed. Check and ask your doctor first.

Another thing I have been using is a silicone tension cok ring that costs $6.00 for three of them and they work really well for me.  Because of the rip off pricing of viagra and the side effects that I had I have not used viagra for over 2 years. With my neo40 supplement, daily glass of beet Juice, no alcoholic beverages, 1000mg of L Arginine from GNC daily and tension cok ring during sex my Johnson is now performing and working as good as ever.  Hope this helps my fellow old friends too.

GoodRX coupon got me 30 tablets for $18.77 from Ralph's supermarkets.
They are the Kroger chain here.

I've been using 100 mg sildenafil for some time, but starting to lose effect.  I'm 68.  Has anyone tried 150 to 200 mg?

I regularly use 150 mg. I get the generics on line from Canada.   My urologist doesnt recommend it but said it probably wouldnt do any damage.  Some manufacturers make 200 mg pills but I was told the only thing i'll get from that is a headache.  If 100mg or 150 arent working, neither will 200mg.

Based on several clinical studies high dose sidenafil [e.g. 150 mg or 200 mg] may be effective for severe ED in some, but not all, patients.   Adverse reactions/side effects are more likely and the cost for the additional dosage is a consideration. Given the current exorbitant cost of ED meds in the USA, I recommend ordering from a reputable, prescription-required Canadian on-line pharmacy.

Since my original post I have been using 60 to 80 mg of Sildenafil and it has been helping tremendously. My timing was horrible getting those 3 little Viagra for over $200 a month ago but I now get  30 of the Sildenafil (20 mg) for about $15 right here in the good ol' USA.  Thanks again to all who responded.
