You should ask the doctor that prescribed the Cialis.  At my doctor, when she prescribes a medication, her computer alerts her if there is an issue with other meds I am taking. If you are just researching, you can google Cialis and find out which other meds are contra-indicated.
Guys here can give you anecdotes about their experience but it isn't medical advice.

They often know best since it's their profession.  I'm always reading articles on people whose pharmacist alerts them to problems with prescriptions that will negatively interact with other medications they take.  This is especially true when you have more than one doctor prescribing meds for you.

If you get your meds on line, you could try On Line MD.  I hear that they are pretty accurate on things like this.

when in doubt, ask a pharmacist. Fishbro is correct.

Doctors are not trained to know meds. The prescribe what the Pharma Salesperson tells them they need to prescribe.

After a stay in Hospital, I was released with a BP med to take in addition to the one I was already on. I asked the releasing nurse to check with the Doctor as she said all was well. Them I asked the Doctor when he swung by on his rounds. Yep, it was ok.

When I went to pick it up at CVS, they told me they wouldn't hand over the BP med until I spoke with the pharmacist who gave me a BIG no and not combine to two.

Thanks everybody, I was hoping somenone already had asked medical experts and gotten an advise.
Usually the crosseffects for medications are not known for idividuals but rather statistical evaluations, so
I assumed any advice given to someone here was not special for this individuum but rather "common knowledge"
which doctors or pharmacists learn in their - hopfully frequently visited - evening or conference attendances..
So far I learned that Cialis even is positive for high BP...
Thanks again, Seneca

I can tell you from personal experience that I've not had an interaction problem
Just swung by my Dr, he gave me some Cialis samples and another prescription.
However, I do have a BP machine at home and check it if I have a concern
I'd suggest you do the same

Cialis could help your prostate feel better but it could also lower your BP. Although doctors and pharmacists can give you good advice, I still believe that they do not know everything so it's always safer to monitor your body carefully to make sure it doesn't have any unique reaction.

Each person's body will react differently to medication combinations. If it were me thinking about combining medications, I would choose a day or two that I can be around home, and combine the lowest dosage possible. I would monitor myself to make sure I did not experience any other negative affects.
(Disclaimer: Is am not a medical professional, and the above comment only reflects what I might consider doing if I were in your position.)

Taking the 2 in combination could lower your bp to the point where orthostatic hypotension may kick in when you get up to quick. You may find yourself getting really dizzy, groping for a wall to support yourself, or even pass out or faint depending how quick your upward motion is. If you take the 2 and partake of outside sport activities, become dehydrated you will possibly pass out at some point. It would be a good idea to have a bp monitor at home to gauge how low your bp could go. I've been in that situation w/o cialis and found my bp dropping to 90-95, feeling somewhat faint. Not good for the active types.
