Saw her reviews, was intrigued, and saw that our schedules worked out, so e-mailed three days in advance. She got back to me in less than a day, checked references, and then we went back and forth a bit to get the best time. Day before she confirmed time and then told me we would be at her private in-call if that was OK with me. It was, so we were set. Would repeat.
