I was under the impression that players on the two Super Bowl teams were excluded from the Pro Bowl. Now I hear that New orleans and Indy each had 7 players selected for the Pro Bowl, and the NFL is requiring all of them to fly to Miami to "make an appearance" for the festivities/game/hoopla, whatever. I guess there's some logic somewhere in all that, but I can't seem to wrap my aging, feeble brain around it. Can anyone explain?
not going to play in the game. Does it really make any sense for the league to fly these guys down there (and separate them from their teams for a couple of days)? Of course not, but that's the NFL for ya!
They'd probably have they doing more. Right now New Orleans is not too happy with the crap the NFL is pulling about who owns the phrase Who Dat and the Fluer De Lis.
But it's all good cause it's snowing in hell and the Saints are in the Superbowl.
"we" as in NFL in probowl. I know, it doesn't make much sense but neither does separating these players from their teammates during the preparations for the biggest game of their careers. Only in the NFL; one of the reasons why I no longer buy NFL tickets.
