It is a case of economics..

Rates in Atlanta are lower than what a provider can get in NYC, Miami, Chicago, Washington DC, or some other large cities.  The providers from the Carolinas appear to stay there, with occasional tours to large northeast and midwest cities.
Another factor maybe the local providers, when the selection is good and their services are good, there is no easy point of entry for traveling providers who do have not build some type of reputation for themselves.

why dont more ladies that travel come on down to atlanta..
I have wondered that myself.. I love to meet the ladies from outta town and show them southern hospitality ..

Thanks Deanna, this was my question on the Atlanta board and when I came over here to post it, I see Deanna did it for me.  Her is my original post.

I don't get it.  If you look at the North and South Carolina boards, Tennessee, Florida boards, there are a lot of great ladies in the Southeast that travel all over the area and don't stop in Atlanta.  I don't get it.  There are ladies in North Carolina that I'd like to see and in order to do so, I have to travel to their home in North Carolina or Florida.  I bet most of their flights stop at Hartsfield but they keep going.  There are ladies from Florida who travel all over the country and go to places like Detroit, Cleveland, and the Carolinas etc., but don't stop here.

Anyone have any idea why?  I wish we could get them to stop here.

Yes, the summer is hot, but that doesn't stop ladies from going to Florida which is much hotter.  It also doesn't explain 9 out of 12 months a year when it's more comfortable.

Why should I3216 reads

The majority of the girls there are going to try to railroad your appointments when you call for a reference. Heaven forbid if one girl gets the screws put on them, they have been known to roll on one another. Only a few girls would I trust there for references.

LE is super ass hot there.

The gents cancel if you're lucky, or just not show up. That's always a good time.

Rates are super poor. Why should I come to Atlanta for $200-$250 bucks an hour or risk hearing about how high my rates are? LOL I can go just about anywhere else, get my full rate and enjoy a much better time.

I appreciate your honest response.

I didn't realize that about the ladies here.  That surprises me.  The LE issue is one I've heard before but honestly don't understand.  They go hard after undeeage stuff, which they should, they keep the streets clean, which is alos OK with me and they do at times go after outcall to certain hotels, it's usually the hotels that ask for the sting and they don't like store front stuff like the Asian massage parlors.  But, there are many aldies who have worked here for years and had no trouble.  If you do incall and screen, you should be fine.

I have no idea why Atlanta is worse for cancellations and no shows.  That surprises me.

Super poor rates is something I don't agree with you about.  I know many ladies here reduce their rates in summer due to the typical summer slowdown, but if you look at rates in North and South Carolina, they are amazingly low.  Much lower than they are in Atlanta.  The ladies who travel from Souther Florida actually lower their rates for these areas but still travel there on a regular basis.

I don't know where you are, but I do appreciate your response.  Sadly, it looks like I'm going to have to drive 4 to 6 hours one way if I really want to see someone who is touring.  Sad, when you consider the fact that Atlanta is the financial capital of the south and the largest city in the southern part of the country.

I can find no flaws in your logic, and there's absolutely no excuse for Atlanta's bad reputation for cancellations and no-shows.  As for rates, there are "going rates" in Atlanta, yet some ladies (even ladies with less than stellar reviews) ask for more in Atlanta than they do at home because their expenses are higher. This defies the law of supply and demand.

I will go again soon I hope.  I thought the people I met were friendly, and the city is very gay friendly, and has great food! Who cares about the heat? I am in the room babycakes with the A/C come on in and light my fire!

I've considered coming to Atlanta but have so far chosen not to do so because there are already a great many ladies in the area. I was concerned that perhaps there wasn't much room for touring ladies.

These are the reason I've heard why ladies don't come to Atlanta:

- The market rates are lower compared to other major cities. Most ladies who tour will raise rates and try to pre-book with deposits to secure appointment. The rep for Atlanta is that guys will complain about higher rates publically on boards, especially if they don't know the lady. And do not like to leave deposits.

- I think someone hit on the no-show problem. I heard this straight from a few ladies who live/work in Atlanta. If it happens to them a lot, ladies talk and they don't want to risk a non profitable trip.

- Many of the local Atlanta ladies have great reps for giving "more bang for the buck", while some touring ladies may consider, they don't want to work that hard for the limited amount of time they will be there. Most touring ladies are trying to recoup money off of volume of appointments. I heard that directly from a few ladies in other cities.

- The perception is LE is more agressive in ATL compared to other cities.

- Many ladies rely on referrals to screen now a days and the perception is the ATL ladies do not provide them or are purposely slow on getting back to traveling ladies. I guess they feel its money out of their pocket.

These are the reason's I've heard.

Nothing special about Atlanta these days... there are few primo locals, but most are just plain hustlers... many close to the streetwalker variety... Peachtree Rd. in Buckhead is full of girls who walk and work close to the Hotels in the area. I don't price is an issue as much as quantity. The ATL is a focal point for the entire SE. The Florida, the Carolinas, BAMA, and LA send their local talent north for a very crowded market. I, for one think great cities like NYC and Chicago are being ruined by the visitors who pay outrageous fees to drop in for an hour.
