Who would want one?

If I had a Stepford wife, I'd be looking for a Stepford divorce. Would I hobby? Damn skippy I would. I'd be looking for a woman with some kind of fire and personality.

If you were married to a Stepford Wife, would you still hobby??

I thought about this for myself, in light of the movie making its debut shortly.

If I was married to a Stepford Wife, I probably would not have started the hobby.  However, having started, even if I was married to a Stepford Wife, I don't think I would stop.  Sort of like: "How do you keep them down on the farm, after they've seen Pariee!"

Just kind of makes me quiver all over.

she was a hottie. A little on the lean side for me but a looker nonetheless. Bet ya there at some folks here who don't even know there was an earlier version of this film.

just about any damn thing (except her "Hours" nose) and, just for what I suspect is an amazing bbbj/rim job: Bette Midler.  (I haven't seen the new version, so I don't know if she gets "translated" but...)
A Stepford Foursome isn't just for the tennis courts anymore.

What was that song that they played while they were doing it in the rain....by Burt Backarack....

Maybe I've been giving men too much credit for enjoying a woman with opinions, creativity, passion, intelligence...Would many of you really prefer a robot woman in pastels and an apron, who agrees with every word you say, and wears a smile so big she looks like a Macy's Thanksgiving day balloon? Please, say it isn't so!

I would have no reason to be Cynical(cept' for politics).
I would be blissfully happy, sexually satisfied and could divert money spent on the hobby to my first lust...The need for speed!.

I'm skeptical about this "comedic" re-make of a once more dark and chilling story. I think possibly the feminists are behind this one saying "See how miserable you would be if we were attentive and nurturing to your wants & needs". I have a newsflash for the feminists. Most of us hobby because we seek
attention to our wants & needs. A face full of attitude every morning, noon or night is NOT what we want or need.

So far the closest thing currently to a Stepford Wife is being manufactured in San Marcos California. "Realdoll" makes some extraordinarily beautiful, made to order female(and male)life size love dolls. All are capable of oral, vaginal and anal copulation. The problem is they dont respond. Maybe in a hundred years we'll have micro-processors & robotics down to a point where shallow or should I say pragmatic gentlemen like myself who wish a mate without human shortcommings can simply purchase one.
Until then:

I'm looking forward to seeing this remake, also, but I know Bette Midler wouldn't be in it unless it had some feminist subtext.  She wouldn't betray all her feminist sisters in Hollywood.

The original movie (based on the book) was made in the mid-70's at the height of the feminist movement (way back when it still concerned itself with heterosexual women), and now this remake is coming when the feminist movement has run out of steam.  Or should I say, as it's been hijacked by the power lesbians.  So I doubt it's going to be male-positive.

So yes, I'm sure the message will be how lucky we men are to have yapping, bitchy, demanding and sexually uncooperative "real" women rather than responsive and attentive substitute women that like to dress well and use make-up.   Yeah, I'd really miss all their shit.

Christopher Walken is worth the ticket price IMHO, even if you do have to endure Bette Middler's bitching and whining.

If you were married to a Stepford wife and she was not cleaning your clock, then you are in the wrong movie. If she is, and you are still doing the hobby thing, then you are sick, greedy bastard.

OK, just on Saturday night.  Still fantasize about some freaky Ella Enchanted like spell that would make here willing to do anything I wanted for just a LITTLE while.

Hey, I totally changed who I was when I got married for 99% of the week.  I'm just asking for the other 1%.

Couldn't go 24/7 though.  Bland doesn't do it for me and would get old pretty quick.
