There can be many reasons why a provider doesn't get back to you .
Always best to try to contact a provider as far in advance as possible , so she will have enough time to get back to you .
If a week goes by and you still don't hear back and your trip is getting closer ..........you should move on .
So here are TOP TEN reasons why you may not have heard back , even though she answered your first email right away -
1) She never got your second email .......sometimes emails get lost in space ........did you try to resend another ?
2) She is busy on an extended appointment , and didn't plan on being away for more then 24 hours from her computer .
3) She is too busy with clients to get to her email .
4) She is out of town and doesn't have access to her inbox ( but then she should have the common sense to put up an auto respond informing clients she is away and until what date )
5) She is having computer problems ( it crashed , broke , a virus , outlook not responding ect ) and it is taking more then 24 hours to fix
6 ) Her computer crashed and she lost all emails she was going to answer , and now has no records of your email address to let you know this happened . ( well she can post on the boards this happened , but not all clients also read these boards . )
7) She has personal stuff going on in her life and isn't getting to her email for a few days or more .
8) By mistake she thought your email was Spam and deleted it .
9) She isn't actually the one answering her own emails . She has a "personal assistant" to answer email and the assistant is slacking off
10) She is in jail 
Ok , that isn't funny , but it can happen .
