Folks, I'm not wild about answering what I consider to be personal questions, especially when the questions are coming from people I don't know. And quite frankly, I'm really not into the whole pen pal thing. I just want to play and have a good time, not write long drawn out letters giving out personal information.
How much correspondence/talking/getting to know a lady do you prefer to do before or during a first appointment....or do you prefer to do as little talking and getting acquainted as possible?
I'm not a very experienced hobbyist. Both times I was nervous at first. A little chit chat is fine. But I don't know how to make that initial step. While in my head I am ready haha One provider made it obvious it was time to get started. The other eased into it.
I'm for small talk but I'm not gonna give you to much into my personal life. I don't expect you to either. I can see some hobbyist just wanting to talk an relax and play. Maybe those would be better for longer meetings.
I would think there has to be a little talking up front but maybe 15 mins at most.
and the girl was going on and on, I would just lean in and start kissing her neck and moving her skirt up. Beard, you are the person of honor. You should have a big say as to how the hour should proceed.
At my place there is talk time during recovery periods and when the guest is getting dressed to leave. Any talk time in the very beginning is about expectations.
to that extent I don't want to be your pen pal or tell you everything about my life. I know there are guys and girls that do this. Guys shouldn't expect a whole lot of details. It is possible to chat without talking about personal things. And 15 minutes worth of chat is WAY TOO MUCH. I didn't come visit to chat. If we have already met we can talk as we get undressed. And ladies, we don't mind listening but when you go on and on and on it is frustrating. There have been many times I felt that the lady was talking just to waste time. Get on with it. If not then why do we need an hour unless multiple pops are available. To each his/her own.
What are the chances these girls who talk on and on THINK that the guy is coming to see them for chit chat when really the guy doesn't know how to get the party started?....not that it's his responsibility to do that.

Marie I think it depends on the lady and research that I would do before seeing someone. You would be someone who I would think wants to have play time shortly upon meeting? A little chat at the beginning is fine though.
I saw a provider one time that we talked for close to 45 minutes. I was a little frustrated thinking this was a bad choice when she said lets start over. How about you walk back out and come in and just put your cock down my throat. Turned out to be a pretty amazing experience.
I don't need to utter a single word before "going for it" and some of my very best sessions have started with a lip lock at the door and not coming up for air for another 30-40 minutes.
Don't get me wrong, I can keep it in my pants if I have to and I am quite content to enjoy a nice night out on the town before even "getting to the good stuff", but I am perfectly capable of going from 0-60 in zero seconds flat and I've always thought that "most" men were the same way. Apparently I was wrong. Or maybe "hobbyists " are a bit more sensitive than other men?

Ready to go at the drop of the hat. I honestly had never even considered that a MAN would need to "warm up" I never used to understand when a hooker would comment that "wow, you are hard already" Of course I am hard, I am in bed with a beautiful, naked woman, OF COURSE I am hard. lol
Like I said earlier, maybe hobbyists are a different breed of men, in which case thank fucking god I am NOT a hobbyist. lol
I guess I am giving my age away, lol. The thing is, different guys and gals would prefer different things. Some guys want an action packed, in the door and go to it, "wham-bam-thank you ma'am" type appointment. Speaking only for myself, with a new lady I can't just walk in and rip off her clothes and go at it. Just not me. I like to chat a bit and try to establish at least some connection and then transition to the more intimate stuff. So I think the ladies sometimes have a difficult job trying to "read" the client and figure out the best way to respond. Of course that is assuming they are wanting to make the appointment a great experience for their client. Obviously that is not the case for many out there. Another good reason to research like crazy with this board and other resources.

The only guesswork is what toys does he have in that toybox?
I would never just keep emailing a provider. Only way would be if she asked me to for certain reasons. After a first appointment, I've had a couple that stay in touch so to speak, but nothing over the top. Some people click better, and I don't mind the occasional hello, etc... I Never initiate that. I obey rules...
As far as chit chat at the beginning of an appointment, I agree that it depends. I Never book 1 hr dates, so I don't mind at little "At Ease" talk. It has never been Excessive. The providers I've seen have been very good at this and knew when both were ready.
I also don't mind a little talk during cool down for a round two, if there will be one. This talk is usually different though. lol...
At the end is normally where some chit chat is more frequent, that I have found. This is the point where I have had some great talks with providers about the Hobby (funny and bad stories they usually lead into), about The Session, future appointments, etc...
I think the Skill of a provider can dictate this. Some are masters of how to calm you and get you going pretty fast. Some also know about a Bad Day and understand, listen, as well being Masterful at getting you going. Some Want to know you a little and will chat a sec before beginning.
I think it varies between People and Providers. While all that I just wrote isn't a "set in stone" guideline. There are times when it's, start engines and go!
A little chit chat is good but too much is unproductive. I will never make the same mistake, letting a guy think he is more than a client he will try to take advantage of it. Maybe they are not all like it, but I speak for experience and boy that was not a good one!
