And many appointments are overnight or longer.

I prefer to have less quantity and go for more quality. Quality to me means dinner, night clubs with live music, walks on the beach etc. Or, generally something to help the fantasy go beyond the "hi, howa ya doin? Shall we get comfortable routine.

I also look for ladies that prefer this type of appointment and it usually is identified in their pricing structure. If I see a lsdy that is in a 250-300 hr range but offers a 3-4 hour dinner package at 600 to 700 then I look further at a possible meeting. I stay away from ladies that offer little ir no hourly rate reduction for multi hour appointments. To me it says their not interested and would prefer one hour appointments.

i have always favored multi-hr appts, my current average date being about 4-5 hrs short ;). i choose my wonderful women after reading their reviews and  guesstimating (favorably) the likelihood of mutual chemistry. this gives me time to love what i love doing, at my own pace - hint: it sure ain't frenetic! - and providers seem to like it (the multi-hr appt) afterwards.

AFTERWARDS.

once they know that i am not going to be a no-show/non-weirdo/non bambambambambambam ad infinitum, ad nauseum ...
i also get a multi-hr rate, which, many times, is just GREATTT!

I'll just have to continue being a humble hobbyist and lament the 2/hr minimum ladies I'll never get to see.

I'm only after the bam bam wham, so 1 hour of vigorous action is fine with me. If you like the companionship of courtesans, definitely you should have multiple hours. If I don't have a loving partner (which I have now), multiple hours make sense. But just to satisfy my horny nature, 1 hour of non-stop action will do :)

I am a multi-hour type of hobbyists.  I have found that with providers who I am seeing for the first time, I am better off scheduling two hours.  If we click, then the next time I schedule longer appointments.  I actually prefer providers who set 2 hour minimums over ones who do predominantly one-hour appointments, I see major differences in their mindsets and for me, the two-hour minimum ladies have a superior way of thinking.

Can't always afford it though.  Probably a matter of priorities.  My hobby money starts after the IRA and 401K have been taken care of.

I've pretty much always been a Multi-hour Girl as it just makes sense, and have my rates set favorably for them.

Only lately have I accepted the one hour appts, but those are for incall as that's what makes sense for those situations; as well as for repeats and regulars.

A 90-minute or 2 hour appt. MINIMUM is usually preferred.

Like others who have posted, I, too, prefer multi-hour encounters. It is more relaxed and opens up all sorts of possibilties in terms of various sex acts.  As the author of this thread noted, you are likely to get a better "deal", particularly if you've seen the lady previously.

For the past couple of years, I've actually gone to multi-Day appointments. The only down side (other than cost) is you'd better find something you enjoy about this person besides sex. As a result, I don't suggest multi-day as a "first date".  Of course, there can be exceptions (such as that porn star who you've fantasized about and you've discovered she is available and will to fly to your city and spend 2 or 3 days with you) Generally speaking, a minimum of 2-hour will give both parties an idea whether spending longer amounts of time together is something you'd both enjoy.

Another benefit of multi-hour (or day) appointments is the potential for a little fun with the video camera.
