thnks for the responses, was also a member of P-411 at one time, looks like it's time to go back

been out of the loop for a while, don't hobby as often as I'd like to :(

tried to login to date-check recently and can't seem to access it even though I had puchased a lifetime membership several years ago, are those no longer valid?

just because I'm not able to hobby as much as I'd like doesn't mean I'm dead lol

they changed the site and went to a "dot.net" and most likely like me have to email support from the email address you signed up with with your user name and they will activate you on the new site. That is the good news. Bad news is your favorites are gone and the site has been changed a lot and I for one am still learning my way around the new site. Your old provider "okay's" are suppose to be viewable by providers.

Takes a couple of days but they will get it done

The same thing happened to me when I tried to log in a few weeks ago.  I had to resend in all of my info to get reverified.   It was a pain.  I would contact customer service and they should be able to tell you how to reactivate you lifetime membership.

Not to sure if the same can be said for Date-Check.
They are under new ownership. Members were given a period of time to request that their membership would continue. I believe that time period expired in January . You might contact them about this. I doubt if they will transfer your membership but they might give you a reduced fee.

However, histories do not transfer. Everyone starts with a new slate. Few ladies are still with them. And there have been some disturbing reports concerning the legal status of the owners.

I'd suggest finding a new site.

First they say their updating their site to (.net) tell folks to sign in/up on the new version.
Then they mention there will be a slow transfer from .com to .net. So folks trapse over to the new version...and find a mess.

Only to be told by Date check support a couple of days ago...  'use the .com not the .net'

WTH... I wish they would make up their mind.
If we're still using the .com
THEN where the heck is ALL the VOUCHES we ladies gave to you gents over the yrs?
gone.........ONLY vouches to be seen are those we put through in the last couple of months since the change.

It's beyond confusing. And hearing that it's all because of (new ownership??) and there may be issues with the new owners?)
I'm not too happy about that.

I won't use the (other site)...tooo many busts, profiles compromised and safety concerns on that (other site ya'll use).

I just wish Date Check would get it together....and For all you Gentlemen members on DChk.
If your mising your vouch OK that you previously had.
Contact the providers and ask them to RE- OK you.

(do it through the site) otherwise Datecheck said unless the guy does it through the site.
The lady won't get to OK them.
So I was told by staff on thew *.net launch*

Nonetheless

Hobby safely & wisely

I started using the other verification site last year, since it seemed to be the industry standard.  I am sure glad I did! Looks like date-check won't be around - I hope all of you get your $ back.  Sucks that they can pull that stunt.

Date-check's new owner is also the owner of Chloe's Companions and she was recently arrested. Before you decide to continue using date-check there are two lengthy discussions about it on the Boston board you might want to read. One on Feb 10 and the other Feb 14.
