Before they ran away from home or New Colts in that 'other' city?

Deuce McCallister is in my Top 5 over any of the others listed except Archie.

John Mackey is in my Top 5 over Jim Parker.

Ive been out of New Orleans for so long Im not as familiar with the more recent players as I should be but...I think Rich Mauti (Saints circa 75-83 or so) belongs on the list.

Played in the NFL for ten years (the last with the Skins and traded when Bum Phillips was the Saints coach. I think a deal with Gibbs and Beathard was cut to make sure this guy got in 10 years to qualify for the NFL pension)
Genuine class act guy who I knew from Penn State. For instance he hosted a charity cancer golf tournament even after he left the Saints.

Moderate ability and gave 100% at all times mostly as kickoff and punter returner.
He was on some truly awful Saints teams (1980 for example) but always gave his best.

Have no idea what he is doing now but Im sure he is giving it his all...just that kind of individual.
An one more guy...Kenny Stabler..yeah I know he was only in New Orleans a few years and after his prime but still..now there was a personality..

Hell, he had one of the only good records the Saints had for many years with that 63 yard field goal.  Did it on grass in the Old Tulane Stadium (the One and Only Sugar Bowl)
