I want gov. out of my decision as to whether to pull the plug. I have had several members of my familry request no more medical aid.
But just as I want them out of my decision as to whether to die, I don't want them limiting my choice to live.
For all practical purposes, if they control 85% of medicine, they will decide whether you get that last year of medical aid.
It takes hours to find the petitions that need our sigs, I found this site, that takes ALL the foot work out of the VERY important ones, By emailing you when they need our help or send you the petitions..Please, if you care about what you see going on in our country, help spread the word..And sign up for the emails!!!

It has something to do with The govt giving the military orders to disarm Americans.. And the surveys they've asked many of us to take recently.. Asking us questions like that, and many more.. and how thats created ALOT of suspicion, so this site was created, and has grown fast among enlisted/reservist in EVERY branch of the military..

Ah! I got out completely in '93; so nobody will be asking me to disarm anyone. I couldn't stay in the reserves as I had opted to do some PMC work in South America.
Which is a recipe, TO BANKRUPTCY!! as well as there are many restrictions to the care and the providers that they may see, NO MATTER HOW SICK THEY AR, I took care of my grandma who was dieing with medicare, AND THEY LET HER SUFFER..Thats very hard to watch a family member suffer like that, AND I WILL NEVER FORGET IT..But you are assuming obama's healthcare will be like medicare and medicaid, and I think It will be much worse, since we can not afford medicaid and medicare and the cuts they make on those 2 programs, I cant imagine the cuts that will be made, if EVERYONE was on programs like those..BUT THE BIGGEST POINT, behind my ''No'' for obamas healthcare IS I DONT TRUST MY GOVERNMENT, anymore..and in order for them to ''give'' us healthcare, we must ''give'' the GOVT, right to our bodies, and IM NOT READY TO GIVE MY BODY, and my health, TO A GOVT I cant trust, OUR GOVT IS TREASONOUS and people want to give them their bodies and health..I dont get it..Ohioboy, do you trust this govt? I didnt trust bush, and I trust Odrama less.. HELL NO, They cant have my body.. Thats whats wrong with socialized healthcare in my eyes

First, those programs are run in the most wasteful, horrific manner.
That aside, they should be a safety net for those on the bottom.
If everyone is put in that system, the quality will sink like a stone for everyone.
Always remember one thing: The people who favor anything like Obama-care are already talking about ways to make it more "cost effective," and limiting medical care to that care that provides the most bang for the buck.
They know they can't even pretend they can pay for everything, so they are honest about the facts that they have to limit it. Of course, they don't say WHAT they will cut, but they give hints.
Obama said that most money is spent in the last year of life, and maybe we should rethink how that is spent. If we rethink it, it is for the purpose of changing it, which means let's limit it.
You can easily save 20% of medical costs if you just limit last-year treatment to pain control, rather than attempts to cure or extend life. A shot of morphine cost far less than chemo-therapy, so let's not waste money on that last year.
Look at the limits NICE puts on people in England.
If you get everything for free, you will get very little of it.
a choice between morphine and chemo. By all accounts chemo is no picnic by a long shot and being alive after a few sessions of it might convince some people to opt for the morphine. I would want to keep the government out of my right to die if its ok with you Phil.

Medical aid? The medical aid would be..."go home...take a bunch of pills...and rest easy". They won't have the time nor the money to provide that last year of medical treatment.
LAST year right? What would you want? A whole new body perhaps?
