I am pleased that i am not the only observer in this great land who finds the newfound concern for the Iranian masses recently manifested by Charles Krauthammer and his NeCon partners in crime to be a bit convenient and somewhat lacking in sincerity.
I mentioned about 10 days ago, the speed with which the Iranians went from regrettable but unavoidable collateral damage to the heirs of Tianemen Square and the beseigers of the Berlin Wall and The Bastille, was dizzying.
Matthew Yglesias, a real left type, makes just that point in the link below.

MY is far too kind and too easily lets CK and the rest of the NeoCons off the hook, and does not mention the real, if not only, instrumental reason that the Iranians now find themselves in such good graces, but given CK's Likudist settlement cred, can anyone really not grasp it?
Well, I'm counting the days until CK drops his ineffective charade and goes back to looking at the Iranians as collateral damage. At least he'll feel like an honest Likudist.
... that you are still, relentlessly, harping, parsing and cherry-picking quotes regarding this one comment from Krauthammer. Do you have any convictions beyond your, increasingly deranged, Jew hatred? There are other books than "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" that you might enjoy.

many times i have butted heads with xiaominglover1... even communicated with him outside TER a few times...
...and last December, we had even made tentative arrangements to connect for real time face time... but the number he gave me wasnt good. then he called me for two seconds, lost connection, and when i called him back, THAT number was no good.
And he never got back to me after that... nor did he acknowledge anything from that day...
...so now, when I see the subject header and his name as the author, I dont bother wasting my time with him anymore.
I realize now the biggest difference between Xiaominglover1 and tallslim26 may indeed be the microcosmic answer to the biggest difference between the extreme left, and the extreme right... and i have to give the point to the right wingers... there is no ambiguity in their hatred, no dissembling or obfuscation in their expressions, they leave no doubt whatsoever as to where they are coming from. Their agenda is clear.
You simply can't tell what the extreme left wings real agenda is.
I never feel as emotionally balanced as when I am the fulcrum between the Xiaomings and the tallslims.

XL1 writes some mean stuff but I bet he's not a bad person. He's bright and has a good education from Catholic institutions even though he rejects Catholicism.
Maybe his dad was a follower of that bonehead Father Conghlin back in the 20's and 30's and that's how he's connecting w/his dad and Catholicism.
