Probably because I have no work or S.O. issues but screening is so dang painless for me that...

I don't really care when it happens.  It's nice beforehand so the lady feels safe (and in some cases, suddenly becomes more friendly and chatty on the phone... which sets the mood nicely),
It's also nice before hand so the date can be virtually business-less.

I am a long-standing provider who has always screened, before I agree to meet with a client. This has always been my way, and I assumed that most providers screen this way. I read one of the boards recently, and there was a post which stuck in my mind, which makes me shake my head sadly. How does a provider screen just at the door, and not prior to? I know that if LE wanted you, they will do it, no matter what. But, I would like to think that all the effort that I put into my screening, before agreeing to meet, makes my chances go down. Wouldn't a provider's chances go up, if only screening at the time of arrival? I am bringing this forth, for I actually have a friend who was recently busted, and she didn't bother to screen (she admitted it to me), and assumed that he was "okay" because he told her he can bring identification to the appt. I would like for all ladies to be really careful out there, and think with your head, and be vigilant. Thank you.

I always feel more comfortable when I'm going to see a lady and i know she has invested alittle time to find out that i am who i say i am.

If there's next to no "formal" screening done then i wonder what other things may be lax on her end also.

I know that i have done all the research i can before i contact a lady for the first time and it adds to my comfort level knowing that she is going to do the same. After all, if everyone involved is as comfortable as they can be, the evening really goes alot better.

In particular your second paragraph, "If there's next to no "formal" screening done then i wonder what other things may be lax on her end also. "

If I accept this reasoning, then it follows that because I smoke (a high risk behavior to myself) I must also drive with my eyes closed (high risk to the rest of the world as well).  Not!

This is not meant to be an argument against screening.  Just pointing out that the statement isn't much of an argument in favor of it either.

I will tell you this, when my friend called me after getting out of jail, and meeting her at her home and seeing the effect it had on her, has made me more vigilant in screening! Hopefully, most (if not all) providers will take the advice, and don't ever let their guard down.

You raised a good point in your post.  I was just indicating that if someone has a good point it's worth the minimal trouble to give it strong, not flimsy, support.  You did, so should he.

Indeed, if the point is a good one, it should be really easy to find valid arguments to support it.  It's only when the conclusion is dubious that smoke and mirrors arguments are needed.

The fact is that screening is 99% about the lady's safety.  Nothing wrong with that, and I've never balked at cooperating.  On the other hand, if a particular lady is lax about screening it wouldn't stop me from seeing her.

But there is a reasonable connection between a provider that does no screening and a higher probability that she may be LE or is an indiscriminate, high volume provider.

When a provider screens a potential client at the door, that provider is placing a huge amount of trust in the potential client.  This maybe rewarded in many cases but almost will surely get the provider busted.
Stick to your guns on verification before you agree to meet anyone, it does in fact improve your chances of not getting busted once you show for the appointment.
It is truly amazing, with terrorists potentially kicking at our country's door, that police departments are still dedicating resources to busting people who are conducting their meetings off the street and behind closed doors.  What a waste of money and time.

I had to fix my computer back to o on my hard drive and lost everything. I had a promgram that I check out the clients with and I lost it. can anyone Instant me about what promgram they use to screen with and the address. thanks  BE-Safe-I-TRY-TO

I would love to know how someone just screens at the door? Just by checking the client's ID?

I have never heard of this before but screening at the door seems stupid to me.
