Someone else will step in, just being careful to put their infrastructure offshore out of subpoena range.  I think I know of another site that works that way...
There may be a time lag, but the business will continue.

Saw that coming a few weeks ago when Congress demanded information within 10 days:((  Peeps in the know, how does this affect BP?  Ladies now gonna be forced onto TER, or, where do they go to advertise?

BP is a big part of the escort business, probably accounting for more total dollars than TER.  Yes, it sometimes has some pretty low level ladies, but also a lot of quality ladies,  I dont know where those ladies will eventually end up, some on TER definitely, but other avenues will arise to fill the vacuum.  On the other hand the BP guys will fight this case and may win.

Another site will undoubtedly step up just as backpage did when Craigslist took off its erotic services section.  Honestly I would be very surprised if they make the charges stick.  It should be an interesting case to follow considering it may further define rights under the first amendment.
