I'm stilling leaning to thailand because (as TA said) the TYPE of girl I'll find there (imagine a country full of Sapphires!) and I can't speak any foreign languages at all, so if the gurls speak just a little english, I'm much better off. But I'm thinking instead of Bangkok, how about the lovely island of koh samui? Would a couple weeks there be a T-lover's dream or what? Maybe get a house off the beach? Or maybe a 3+3 mansion to share? Tell us more TA! (and anyone else who KNOWS)! Maybe THAT is where the TER excursion will head next! Oh, yeah!
All these posts about Brasil have me wondering if I should head down there next Spring. Or should I stick with my original plan and go to Bangkok? SP obviously has the numbers and the knockouts, but seems kinda expensive (maybe 3,500 for the week?)if I need a guide like some say. I dont speak Portugese, just minimal Spanish. I dont speak Thai very good either, but I know I can safely navigate Bangkok on my own for more days and less money (2,000 and live like a king). Anybody with first hand knowledge/advice of both places? What would you do?
Here's my take. I used to love SE Asia when I first got the travel bug and still think its an enchanting place as they say in the brochures. More recently though, I'm enjoying S America more. It might just be a cycle, but I think its more related to culture - I love exotic places that take you way out of your comfort zone but at the same time, I find the culture a bit more approachable in Brasil. Something about being able to realistically speak the language, blend in, not be immediately identified and labeled as an outsider that is better in Brasil.
That said, here's my assessment, which also applies to GGs.
Girls: As you see in pics, if you like em petite and thin, BKK is the place; if you like em bigger or just more variety, Brasil is the place. GFE level is probably similar and YMMV but no question brasilians are more wild and uninhibited whereas Thais are more reserved and demure. Tgirls in Brasil will do ANYTHING (3somes, 4somes, GGs...) assuming its safe.
Scene: Not sure about pure numbers but in all regards the P2P scene (for GGs and TGs) is far more diverse and accessible in BKK. In BKK, you can meet TGs in a long list of bars, strip clubs and street action. In Brasil, its a little more work but still fairly easy.
Language: I've found portuguese infinitely easier than Thai but have also found more Thai girls that speak basic english vs. their brasilian counterparts.
Cost: In SP, a 4 star hotel will run you $80US and sessions anywhere from $15 to $50. Other costs like food, taxi, etc. are probably cheaper in BKK. My guess is a SP trip will be much less than $3,500 unless you go 5 star and session 4-6 times a day.
Other: BKK and SP are both sorta miserable overcrowded 3rd world cities. I love BKK for the food and asian culture. SP has good food, much more temperate weather but IMHO not as much to do. Of course, Rio blows away Pattaya in terms of overnite desitinations.

I'm down on Samui. Too many drunk Euro tourists watching soccer - and too many girls preying on them. I'm not even sure there is a great selection of katoeys there. I think Phuket might be a better option, but, to be honest, I'm too obsessesed with Brasil (and Nikole de Castro) to think about Thailand now.

I debated this question myself. I have never been to Brasil. Hope to go, but Iam hesitant in that there seem to be less info on the GG and especially the tgirl scene in Brazil than what I was able to gather on Thai when I initially went. Also, i dont speak a word of portuguese.
Answer what you mean by overnite destinations? you mean like after hours club? Did you get my email from the other BBs?
Sorry, by "overnite destinations", I meant other locales you can travel to from SP or BKK. Rio is only a 30 minute/$100 flight from SP and its a great city for hobbying and hanging out, whereas Pattaya is the only real hobbying/touring option close to BKK and IMHO its a friggin dump.
Kunglao - for GG info on brasil, check clubhombre.com. WSA and WSG blow it it away in terms of asian locales but hombre kicks ass on Brasil and Mexico.
WHOAH. Back from 10 days in Sao Paulo. AMAZING. I actually shed tears leaving, I kid you not. Even half the women in the friggin' AIRPORT are KNOCKOUTS!!!
Hey "Answer," have you ever flown TAM Airlines within Brasil? I've came to the conclusion that TAM still hires only model-type chicks as stewardesses, like the USA used to do some years ago--every stewardess and gate agent at TAM was a 10!!! I couldn't believe it! I had 3 hours to waste at Sao Paulo's GRU airport, and I just hung out in the TAM, wing peepin' the beautiful Brasileiras.
Anyway, trip recap...3 nights in Sao Paulo for me...4 GORGEOUS TS girls, including porn star Celina Oliver. Lots of amazing sex, good conversation, and quality time all around. Could've had many more, but I soon found my companion for a lil' side trip...
The 4th girl, Thalia, I took to a small island called Fernando De Noronha--a 4 mile long island-paradise off the coast of Recife. We spent a week there enjoying time together snorkeling, hiking, and spending quality time on private beaches. Luck was on my side--after teh flight, as I was kissing Thalia goodbye and putting her in a cab, Zanella comes walking out of the terminal in her cute TAM uniform, and luggage, JUST in time for me to introduce myself and get her number. I LOVE BRASIL!!!
