I'm actually surprised the prices have stayed as low as they have. Usually suppliers like to  really gouge us under these circumstances.

Of course most gas that has been pumped since the price shot up by 20+  cents was already in the gas stations tanks before the pipeline burst . Thus local owners are making out OK.....until they have no more product to sell.

Whats everyone thinking about this gas shortage?
My thoughts are its just a way to drive up the gas prices, i do know that there was a issues with the gas pipe line, but in this day and time it can not be repaired for 10 days?  i do know that it is really hard to find any around Raleigh area, But lucky for me I guess I have a diesel so it has not been a real issue yet

I filled up all my vechles and 3 gas cans the other night, so I may be partially to blame.  One guy from up north was talking down about how Southern people stock up for no reason.  He will learn why, down here when you walk a mile, it's called a COUNTRY MILE.

.

Yea my work had us fill up all vehicles in morning an top off on way home. Already saw alot of 83 87 out. Diesel and 91 still available around s pines and Fayetteville.

Definitely companies with fleet of vehichles can be blamed to.  if they run out of gas no work tho.

Like the gas companies don't have it stock piled up

Hmmm, so this doesn't look like it's going to get better right away?

If I'm driving down I-85, how far north do I need to fill up? ;)

But I'd fill up before hitting NC. And not pass a station with gas once you're at a 1/2 tank without topping off.
Also , be aware there has been protest activity on 85 around Charlotte .

And for Gods sake when in NC be sure to use the correct prescribed by law bathrooms !

Good luck.

Thanks.  Gas seems plentiful this weekend.  Locals have been great.

And there's a snowball's chance in hell you'll see me in a men's bathroom. ;)
