I also see out of town providers. There is some risk as you never know who might be le, but a litttle research tends to help avoid any trouble.
I guess the popular providers have plenty of business, so some, to most inquiries, are ignored. That attitide will eventually backfire though, as their regulars will seek out others, and the hobbiest's they ignore will not give them any business in the future.
I've been enjoying this hobby now for about 1.5 years and have some observations concerning some of the local providers. For some of the more popular providers it can be awfully tough to get an appointment let alone even a return email or phone call. I've had much better luck connecting with providers who visit the area- they always seem to return phone calls and email. Anybody agree or disagree with this?
I have to agree. In other cities the response times seems to be much higher. Maybe our ladies are So so busy that they don't need new clients.
My biggest peeve is the fact that some keep advertising on sites like SD Exotics, post notes here about their "availability."
More need to be like Ashlee/TrueGFE.com, (who have I have yet to enjoy but hope to soon). She replies to emails, has an educated view and operates from what I can tell like a person who cares both about herself and her clients. Even though I'm not a client of hers yet, she is courteous and forthright. You can't ask for better in a hobby that has so many rip offs, flakes and downright scary type people (on both sides) involved in it.
Yvonne, who I have seen over the years for massage, is another first rate professional. Her appointments always run on time (even over if she has no one following my appointment.) You can easily book a time through her answering service. They know her availability.

As in all places, there are some who return calls well and other who don't. I know when I drive to South Bay, I usually take a list of 10 or more providers. I don't usually bother with those that require 1 day advanced notice or who require a bunch of information that they will not be able to verify in a short span of time for screening. Out of the 10 or so that I call, I usually only get 2 or 3 return calls. From there, I go by looks, services offered and price. I usually give between 3 and 5 hours notice.
It can be frustrating. I would like to see some of the more popular providers, but I hate to have them set aside time for me when it's possible I may never make it down for whatever reason.

Of course the word is out on the street that not all parts of gumby are all that flexible!
I travel down to SD on occasion and though due to my own scheduling issues I was unable to meet any of these three popular providers, they all emailed me back in a very timely manner: Lara, Jenni and Dream. Can't speak for any of the other ladies in SD... I'm still hoping to connect with these three

In response to this thread, I have to say that although I rarely turn my phone off except when I am working or sleeping I constantly answer. I try to answer all emails. Usually scheduling becomes an issue when our schedules clash. There are so many more calls that I cannot take than I can, but alot of my business occurrs down the road because I do answer emails and answer my phone versus screening out voice messages. For now I will be unavailable until the third week of January because of a nutritional/health retreat I am attending. It is supposed to be three weeks, but don't know if I can stand that much, lol. But please don't give up! I will keep working with anyone who wants to give it a few tries. Meantime "kisses" to you Dawk!
